Of all the problems and challenges humanity faces in 2015, some fucking retards think that abortion is a problem. I mean this is why religion is poison. Its reactionary. Everyone (america included) have a bunch of political issues to tackle yet their representatives are trying to get elected via this stupid non-issue.

Its the same with gun-rights to some extent. Its a non-issue too, but retards think it matters so much (it doesn't) and they end up voting based on it. These are basically ways for politicians to solicit votes. They won't affect your life or reality one way or the other yet people are convinced they are some sort of serious ethical issues.

pro-lifers think that by attacking an organization the moral arguments for being pro-choice come crashing down and the arguments for making abortion legal weaken.

Like even if planned parenthood was a scummy company (if they where), pro-lifers think that other countries where abortion is legal and reached that conclusion independently of anything American would have to re-think their position.

It would be a good way to explain to liberals us pro-lifers outrage over the harvesting of baby parts for profit:

"Hey, liberals, do you remember how much outrage you had over Cecil the Lion? Well, that's the outrage us pro-lifers feel EVERY DAY over the slaughter that happens in a Planned Parenthood! Most abortions are early term and pro-choicers don't see it as having the same moral and ontic value as a newborn.

Until pro-lifers understand this, they will continue with the "this is what pro-choicers think, it's a baby. . ." no they don't actually. A baby is born, a zygote embryo and fetus, of course, is not. "Buh but late term abortions!" Elective late term abortions have been illegal since Roe.

It comes back in full force just before every election. You boil down the candidates to just between "pro-choice" and "pro-life", and make everyone vote on that. No one cares about NSA wiretapping, drone strikes on US citizens overseas, shadow wars in Syria and Libya, Trans-Pacifici Partnership, government buying information from Microsoft and Facebook, militarization of the police force, or unlimited campaign fundraising. We will just argue about abortions instead.

I have very limited interactions with Planned Parenthood, was there once with a friend as support during a "screening" so to speak, and another time to try and get condoms. THAT said, even joking about selling body parts... when you are in that org, people need to use their fucking brains more.
