Why would they even try to have these guys fight just 2 months after their last fight when the champ says isn't even coming back until at least May? I wouldn't want to go right back into a training camp immediately after a fight either for no real reason.
 
So you got, "Khabib ducking Tony Ferguson" out of "Khabib didn't want to fight as early as January".... wow
 
He doesn't even deserve a fight with Tony Ferguson, let alone Conor. His latest win over Michael Johnson (was he even top 10?) is his only decent win in like 5 years. His win before that was over a guy making his UFC debut, and it was boring as shit. He needs another top 10 win to get a title eliminator with the top guys.

so khabib was injured for 2 years, then beats who?....to get to the title? then he takes 4-6 months off because of his religion...
now he don't want to fight till spring 2017?

Michael Johnson was #6, and he beat Ferguson. Khabib also has the same best win as Ferguson, which was 2 years ago, and did it much more dominantly and didn't commit any fouls.

This is the 3rd chance Khabib has gotten to face Tony and pulled out. It's a clear duck job. Tony is a bad matchup for him.

Tony is a better wrestler than any of Khabib's opponents. And we all know what happened the last time Khabib faced a good wrestler.... cough... Tibau....cough
