What mma/ufc fight could do that other than the leprechaun vs a certain undefeated boxer (which would be a boxing match anyway)? This isn't even the biggest fight in boxing right now (that would be Canelo-GGG). The fighters are splitting $36M, 55-45 in Joshua's favour. Boxing's dead though..

The ring is definitely unsafe. The gloves are definitely clown-size. These aren't contradictory ideas. They didn't add the ring to make things edgier/more dangerous. It exists because nobody was really thinking. The sport would be less 'powderpuff' if it wasn't so limited and didn't have gloves that look identical to Rock 'Em, Sock 'Em boppers. Also, the constant clinching/the separating every five seconds adds another layer of lameness to an already lame sport. At least in MMA clinching can actually lead to a finish.
