2017 Milb thread

Red Sox will trade for Frazier blocking him until next season. Or could have just kept Shaw and wouldnt have had to worry about 3b.

I like this trade for the Cards. Gave up marco gonzalez and got Tyler O'Neill.

Read he was a good prospect. Any Mariners fans know anything about him?

Rafael Devers called up to the Red Sox

Victor Robles promoted to AA

Sucks, wont be back until 2019.

Chavis with his 8th in Double A, 25 on the year total. I dont know how hes not on some of these top 100 lists. I guess his lack of a position, but hes 21 and killing it in Double A.

Kopech killing it lately and keeping the walks down.
Tonight 7IP, 0 ER, 1 BB, 11 K

AJ Reed HR #34 Leads MilB @RR

Today was the last day of the season. AFL rosters are out.

It'll be interesting to see how the lists shake out now that Amed Rosario, Moncada, Devers, Albies, etc will probably reach the 130 AB rookie cutoff by the end of the year.

He can't hit anything that breaks. Put him on Live PD

It could still happen. Seems like Buxton finally figured it out.

I'm going to start dropping the organization lists here as they get posted by Baseball America... then probably make a new thread for 2018 when the top 100 lists start coming out in Feb

Meant to post this when it happened but there was no where to post it.

Top 5 Red Sox prospect 17 year-old Daniel Flores died due to complications from his cancer treatment. Sox just gave him a $3.1 M signing bonus over the summer.

Sad in general to lose a 17 year old kid who had such a bright future. Also sucks for the organization as they were unable to sign any international prospects under the age of 23 last year and DD has traded away most of the farm.
