USA! USA! United States Men's National Soccer Team Discussion Thread

Lmao. Don't they have better options than Howard, Gonzales and Dempsey? Those dudes are as old as dirt.

Everything felt wrong from the get-go.

US lookin assy during recent qualifiers... Panama game a mirage.... 3rd World Country swamped field vs T&T worse than an average US High School field and relying on other shit country outcomes..... Pure fuckery from top to bottom.

USA Men needed this to hopefully evolve past the beta hipster apologist fanbase structure support that his been plaguing this program for awhile, and grow into a mainstay USA sports team that truly expects nothing more than excellence.

Fuck.

Panama is classified for the World Cup, lol
Congratulations, USA.

All teams played in TyT back when they were still alive in competition and won with the exception of Panama, pretty shitty argument from you LOL, it was not even a rivalry game, that was the easist away game of them all.

This was the last hurrah for Dempsey and Howard, they surprisingly kept themselves in playing shape from 2014 to have this last 2018 WC team (especially Dempsey's health problems).

Gotta blow this entire thing up from coaches to players, fuck the "established" players and get something fresh and new at every position (Pulisic being the only sure thing)

Klinsmann is in a German bathhouse somewhere beating off with happy glee

What an embarrassment smh the USWNT would have beaten T&T

You're right.

That's the perception of the general bougie apologist hipster US Soccer fan. In reality theres ZERO excuses for not making the WC.

The decision to change should be easy cause the more established players are all north of 30 (Dempsey, Howard, Bradley).

And as far as the coach, Arena was only brought cause he was experienced in qualifiers and knew the rivals so they tought he could save the last few games from a clusterfuck, never really was seen as a long term option.

All you had to do to go to world cup is not lose to bloody Trinidad Tobago to go to the world cup and they fail. This is so embarrassing.......people laugh at Netherlands, they had a group of france and Sweden. Two nations who can actually play football.

Yedlin deserves better than your shit.

Same could be said at Newcastle however.

Yedlin's only worth a shit right now because of Newcastle and Rafa, Sunderland fans laughed at us for that signing

Yedlin was getting beat like a drum and his first touch was terrible. I love him as a future player but he was part of the problem in this game.

Didn't watch but bad manager and setup imo.

Been in Newcastle's top 3-4 players for the last 18 months when he's not been injured.

He was playing the same position he's been playing for Newcastle. He's lucky Timmy Chandler can't stay healthy or else he wouldn't be on the field.

Arena's performance as manager was a joke during this run. Guy is clueless.

Playing RB for NUFC under Rafael Benitez and RB for USA under Bruce Arena (had to google him) is entirely different my friend.
