With all the Sexual accusations levied on Trump how did he ever become President?

Do we just not care about Morals here? I mean many people are making an uproar over Hollywood yet we have a PRESIDENT who many many women have stated he has sexually abused them. I feel sorry for however voted for this pervert.

two of the accusations had the credibility of a crack whore and the rest were seen as way too convenient and political-smear-campaignish

Because none of them had any substance, and many were actually outright proven false.
Meanwhile, Bill Clinton is a rapist. So Hillary lost that battle hard, and that's why the media did a 360 degree turn and moonwalked away as fast as they could from the topic.

You sound like you really believe that which is a bit sad .

Well, when you have a president cheating on their wife and getting blow jobs in the Oval Office, I don't think morals come into play that much.

Lots of guys are crude and talk shit, but don't act. I think most saw trump falling in this category.

That and the fact they shut up and went away right after the election kinda cemented it

I think the tape of Trump talking about women was actually grosser than most people initially gave it credit for. I think everybody was so wrapped up in the election that people who hated him just hated him more, and people that defended him had such tunnel vision that they just defended him more.

But with the benefit of hindsight, and with the recent news about Weinstein doing some of the same shit that Trump described in that tape, I hope people show a little bit of conscience and admit that was a horrific thing that he admitted to.

"Just grab em by the pussy" and "When you're a star, they let you do it." That is not an implied consent, that is a horrific abuse of power. I find it very hard to relate to anybody who let's their political views get in the way of recognizing that. At some point, our country has to start rediscovering our principles (if we ever had any).
You are exactly right, here. He was in a very similar position too, an abundance of wealth and power who put himself in to acccess of a lot of women.

Wouldn't a 360 put them right back where they started? Fucking rainbows

Yes. The tape is bad and more than just the locker room talk that people down played it as. The Weinstein using his position to coerced women is exactly what that was

I was stating the rape claims were unfounded and clearly just used to try and damage him. I was not defending or dismissing the tape

The precedent was set in the 90s that it wasn't a problem.

You mean in the throughout history, right? Tell me you mean throughout history... and aren't just talking about Bill Clinton because it's the most convenient for you. As far as I can assume, Carter is probably the only guy moral enough not to have extra-marital affairs... and plenty of Presidents throughout history have had mistresses and sexual misconduct.... all the way back to "Venus".

The left is on the ropes!
You don’t deserve your own response because you don’t have your own ideas.

So, see below.

No one ever said Trump was perfect, but when compared to Hillary's morals, He looks pretty damn good!

This is the kind of toxic nonesense that is poisoning our political discourse.

Hillary defended a rapist in 1975 because she was APPOINTED to do so by a court. Do you not understand what a public defender is and how our legal system works?

Btw, she asked to be removed from the case, her request was denied, and her client ended up pleading guilty to a lesser charge.
http://www.factcheck.org/2016/06/clintons-1975-rape-case/

So here’s the real comparison:

Donald Trump has ACTUALLY been accused of sexual assault by a dozen real women.

Vs.

Hilary Clinton was a lawyer doing her job.

How “equal” does that sound?

If you want to go after Bill here, fine. He deserves it. But Hillary has never actually abused any of her positions of power to obtain sex. That makes her BETTER than BOTH her husband AND TRUMP in this area.

DEAL. WITH. IT.

No morally corrupt politicians are poisoning this country.

No morally corrupt politicians are poisoning this country.
And who elects those morally corrupt politicians? Voters who base their votes on memes, shit logic, and conspiracy nonesense instead of actual understanding of complex issues.

Lol.... though it is difficult to take a socialist seriously.

I mean, nobody expects politicians to have morals anyway.. they're fucking politicians.

Just like how Hillary accepted large campaign contributions from Weinstein, yet kept her mouth shut for five days after the first accusations came out because she was too worried about pissing off a donor... and only reason she did was because she was pressured to.

Goes to show that none of these idiots really take a stand for anything and have no shame... and yet people still vote for them.
