Mitsuhisa Sunabe
26–7–4
Age 38
Height 5'8"
Years active 2001-present
Fought in AW,SW,FLY,BW,FW,LW (6) weight classes
105 and 115 lb championship and the Pancrase Flyweight tournament 2011 Winner
As of right now he is the #1 105 and 115 lb fighter today!
Demetrious Johnson Needs to Fight this guy!

If there's any Japanese flyweight that needs to be in the UFC it's Horiguchi... he's legit top 3 and they let him go

I think the fact that you can seriously ask this question proves the ufc has too many weight classes (for little guys)

38 in that weight class is like being 80 in fight years

Lol, he fought from 155 to 105? Crazy as fuck

Well if cm punk gets a UFC contract, why can't he?

he doesnt feel safe in their arms like he can with a big man.

i hadnt considered that.

hey, small dude hating bro??

that true, bro? small dudes dont offer you the same level of comfort and security? have you considered getting a few smaller dudes together?

And yet hes is still 1# in 2017

He's #1 now only because Jarred Brooks was signed by the UFC and had to move up to 125. Other than Brooks it's kinda slim pickings at 115, and Sunabe would have enough trouble competing in the UFC at 125 even if he wasn't so undersized. If for some crazy reason the UFC decided it'd be a good idea to open up a strawweight division for men I'd say sure, but at this point he'd just be another in the long line of Japanese fodder the UFC signs.

Has a legit record. Wouldn't mind seeing him get a shot. But if it is an age thing. Try Bellator. They like them old.

Age 38 <36>

Thats the age to go from the UFC to bellator, not to debut in the UFC
