DC on Anderson's failed test: "If you say USADA needs to lighten up, f*** off"

For years the 2 biggest mma orgs were run by the Yakuza and Casino owners. Of course the fighters were going to be dirty or a blind eye turned to it for so long.

So far i think the 2 fighters i've been most surprised by are Giblert Melendez & Jake Shields considering how tight they were with the all natural Diaz bros. Though they did pull away and start their own gyms at one point.
wait WEED is a PED

I don't disagree with strict drug testing, I'm just not willing to throw someone's entire career and legacy in the garbage because they popped.

You don’t have to throw it in the garbage...........but it does make their achievements less impressive when they’ve broke the rules to get ahead.

What, an Olympic caliber wrestler chose to wrestle somebody in a fight he took on super short notice. How shocking.

it wasnt that shocking.

dc isnt a complete fighter. we all know that.

his best chance to beat a middleweight fresh off of surgery was to lay on him, and he did that.

kudos to him.

DC says "USADA doesn't catch people all the time," that means, you too DC could be on steroids, and you are one of the people USADA has yet to catch. So, should we just believe that DC is hollier than everybody, and take his word that he is not cheating?

That is stupid. Either USADA is doing a great job, and 95% of cheaters are getting caught, and we can can say with 95% confidence that most fighters who are testing negative are negative or USADA is not doing a good job, and fighters (including DC) are getting away with cheating.

You can't have it both ways.

Where I come from, "the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty." There's no country I know of where people who haven't even been accused are presumed guilty until proven innocent.

USADA is definitely not doing a great job. They seem to be doing ok but anyone could still be cheating including DC.

We don't know how bad or good USADA is doing, because we have nothing to compare it to. The only way we can know if you USADA is doing bad, is if a bunch of fighters come out and admit that they were using, but USADA never caught them.

I think we need to give USADA the benefit of the doubt and say that they are doing a competent job in terms of detecting banned substances.

people using roids be like

underated post

Cmon now. He was trying. He was trying to absolutely avoid standing with the spider.

Once he panic wrestled and got spider down, he just kind of splayed over him and held him down. I agree.
Why should he stand with a guy he didn't train to fight? Easy night for him. I suppose he should have made it exciting for the crowd who hated him anyway and wanted to see him lose? fuck them.

We already know that many fighters got away with using even under USADA. Anderson being a prime example. USADA is doing good at finding out that it's a huge problem but people are still doing it. People are still trying to get away with it.

Anderson isn't a complete fighter if he couldn't get up or even attempt a sub from his back. All Silva did was hold on for his life while Cormier took him down at will.

No camp fresh outta surgery middleweight anderson couldn’t keep former hw Olympian from laying on him.

The math checks out.

We don't know that any fighter is getting away with PEDs usage. Unless they come out and say it, and then provide evidence of it, we don't know.

All we know is who USADA has caught with banned substances in their systems. Even then, we don't know if they were using PEDs or they were contaminated.

USADA only tells us that they found something. They don't provide any further information about awareness and intention. To say that somebody is using something, I think you have to show awareness and intention, in order to say "that person is using this or that."

For example, if your significant other adds MSG (monosodium glutamate) in the food that she cooks for you, and you eat the food without a second thought. Can we say that you are using MSG? In my opinion, no. "Using" implies awareness and intent/purpose.

Wasn't DC who had an extraterrestrial T:E ratio?

Or was it someone else @ LHW?

Yeah he hurt his legacy by cheating. He will always have an asterisk by his name.

The contaminated BS is a terrible excuse that caught cheaters jump to because they have no other defense. Why is Anderson and Jones getting caught more than once? Is it because they are cheating and trying to get away with it or are they somehow getting tainted supplement and pills over and over again? They aren't just unlucky idiots, they know what they are taking.

People need to be held accountable for what's in their system. Saying that they have to prove intention is just going to lead to more BS excuses.

Dc has no problem talking smack about anderson when anderson isn’t around, but dc refuses to stand with Silva and panic wrestled the minute the cage door was shut.

Tell us more about the sport and integrity, dc, and tell us how you won your belt.

So taking people down is destroying this sport integrity?????????

IV flushing is a very effective way of masking PED use.

IV injection of saline, plasma etc is a very very effective way of masking EPO use.

So no, you are wrong.
I thought, they said, they banned IV to try stopping people from cutting ridiculous amounts of water, since they wont be able to rehydrate properly without drastic measures like IV.
you are saying, they did it for masking capabilities of IV use?
good in both cases for me, just curious.
