Trump doesn't want immigrants from s***hole countries

That part was the joke....

Has your hatred of Trump sunken you so deep into the depths of tribalism that you're unable to decipher or enjoy a simple joke?

My attempt at flippancy aside, Rod1 absolutely said that Donald Trump would be banned on Sherdog. I mocked him for the absurdity of this notion, and rightly so.
"was just a prank bro, I didn't mean to imply that if you dislike Trump you voted Hillary"

Naive, really? You actually think another President spoke like that in a immigration meeting in the oval office? Why do you think Graham confronted him?

Yeah, I'd say that they have said that, and a whole lot worse.

Trump's comments are nothing compared to how previous presidents have talked:

It's a tough job and usually only the toughest people were able to handle the job. No surprise that they also happened to talk tough.

Go read some plenty have said much worse

Start with Andrew Jackson and work you way up from there.

So yea it was a stupid statement.

How?

Drumpftards still buy into this meme? Sad!

I'm not a Trump supporter. Europe is slowly being destroyed due to third world mass immigration. Take a look at any city which has a large third world population and you'll see the awful effects of mass third world immigration.

Next you'll be telling me Islam being a violent, savage religion is merely a 'meme'. LEL

You left out a few important stats. Taxation, personal debt, and housing costs. Tsk tsk tsk.

Debt.

And yes, Norway is one of the most heavily taxed countries in the world with a total tax burden of roughly 45% of GDP– almost 4x Hong Kong and nearly twice the US. VAT here is a whopping 25%. Personal income tax rates border 55%. Corporate profits tax ranges from 28% to as high as 78%.

Socialist shithole. This is why Minnesota is a blue state. Norwegians brought that crap with them.
>B-B-BUT L-LOOK AT THESE H-H-HOUSE P-PRICES M-MAN

Meanwhile:

"Norway having the world’s fourth highest GDP per person—well ahead of the USA in 14th place. Likewise, Norway ranks ninth in purchasing power in GDP person, ahead of the USA, which, with Bermuda, is tied for 15th place."

"In short, employees earn more, take home more, and cost their employers more in Norway than in the USA."

Earlier in the thread some posters tried to counter this point by highlighting LBJ. A guy who did have a reputation for vulgarity. Never mind that the most recent example of similar vulgarity seems to be a guy whose second term ended 59 years ago. So, you know, one other president who served nearly 6 decades ago also had a potty mouth. This clearly suggests that Trump's behavior is normal!

I pointed out LBJ because he was probably the most "progressive" president in US history as far as what he was able to accomplish for race relations.

He also cursed like a sailor and was obviously less than PC in how he described people of other races (as well as people of his own race, he didn't spare them either).

What's more important? Some guy putting on a show of modesty for the plebs, or a guy being able to get the fucking job done?

I know I prefer the latter.

You're right, that wasn't what the joke implied at all.

Keep trying though! You'll get it eventually!

Objectively false. Stop reading Breitbart.

Take a look at any city which has a large third world population and you'll see the awful effects of mass third world immigration.

And what is it, do you think, that Trump has done or is going to do for race relations? Specifically, let's look at his comment that is being discussed in this thread. Let's also consider his comments concerning a federal judge of Mexican descent. Let's consider his comments that resulted in CEOs abandoning his manufacturing council. How does your qualifier of LBJ actually suggest that people shouldn't be deriding Trump for what he said?

Hahah thats funny, Andrew Jackson was the most racist President ever way back almost 200 years ago. Giving Trump a point higher than him is pretty funny.

I don't think he needs to do anything for race relations. Everything that can be done for race relations, legislatively, has already been done.

People can deride Trump (or LBJ or whoever) for what he has said. But I'm simply calling out the argument that "it is the worst thing ever said by a president" for the bullshit hyperbole that it is.

I suppose people didn't learn much from the Hillary leaks where even she went on to state that there is such a thing as a "public position" and a "private position". The politicians in private are acting wholly differently from how they act in public, like most people do in a high-pressure work environment.

It means that there is going to be some language used that doesn't necessarily reflect well when shared with the common pleb that has no understanding of the sphere beyond where he operates (low-stress, low-pressure, low-risk, low-reward). When nothing is ever at stake, it is easy to act "modest" and "humble".

Guys, Nixon was antisemitic and didn't have a high opinion of "little negro bastards." Guess we better not criticize Trump unless we're ready to criticize Tricky Dick.

As people have already pointed out, this wasn't a private setting. It was a work meeting.

Edit: Oh, and everything that could be done for race relations legislatively has been done. So that means race relations are swell and not being impacted meaningfully by our sitting president.

Nothing in any of those transcripts is about a meeting in the oval office, they said it over the phone, one on one, or one on two. This is a President speaking to both sides of the aisle at a immigration meeting, get real. Also, where did Nixon end up?

Its amazing how you guys defend this lying buffoon. Here is another guy who heard the whistle.

Lack of competence

Ahhhh, rhetoric. Just as I expected.

Objectively false. Stop reading Breitbart.

Not an argument. Carry on living in your progressive fantasy. You need a #SafeSpace to shield you from reality.

NYC hasn't been flooded with third world immigrants like Europe has. We're talking about Europe, and you bring up an American city. You moron, you fool. LOL

I replied. I destroyed your nonsense. No wonder you didn't want me to respond, no confidence in your own response. LEL
