Cliffs: Illegal Mexican gets wasted, hits a semi, it explodes killing the driver who burnt to death. Feds wanted the guy to deport him, but Denver is a sanctuary city, they said no, they set his bail at 25k and he is or soon will be roaming free apparently.

Here is the fine fellow:

While I learned here that there are people who actually support this seeming insanity, I am really hoping that this is not happening.

Ivan Zamarripa Castaneda should not have gotten wasted, it was the wrong thing to do.

PROTECTING THESE PEOPLE OVER AMERICANS is the wrong thing to do.

If ICE deports him, there's no penalty for vehicular homicide and drunk driving! He'd get out of jail free and go straight to Mexico card? Where is the justice for the victim's family in that?

If he makes bail he will be gone.

So why the bail, he should be on ICE hold with no bail. Then he goes to serve whatever time he gets then gets kicked out.

ICE hold = no bail.

Actually, IF he’s benn formerly deported, he may be prosecuted under 8 USC 1326 and given some time at Club Fed. Let’s hope this is the case.

Still SMH at 25K bail <Eek2.0>

Can you at least search the guy's name and provide different sources?

EDIT: Here we go: "Denver and all other state agencies stopped honoring detainer orders from ICE in 2014 after courts ruled it was illegal."

It's procedural. They state promulgated that those orders cannot interrupt law enforcement protocol. As far as I can tell, there is no discretion here. So...outrage porn. Outrageous outrage porn, but outrage porn nonetheless. You get lots of these types of cases in a federalist democracy, bruhs. When your state courts pass down orders, you follow them.

Facial tattoos and neck tattoos always indicate super standup individuals.

Contrary to what you see in Law and Order my understanding is that there almost isn't a single state that has "No Bail" holds when the case is pre-trial.

So him getting bail isn't that surprising honestly. What DOES surprise me is it isn't higher.

Had a guy on Friday get 100,000 for shooting a dude after an argument and when you listen to the PC it ALMOST sounds like a self defense case. Dude had no history either.

My State House Representative has a face tattoo, just sayin'. And he's a small business owner, public liaison to the police department, and recorded singer.

Yeah well, last dude I saw that had a face tattoo called our black commissioner a "you know what", tried charging him and after he got tackled by the jail deputies the PDs assistance dog barked (black lab) and he called dog a "you know what" dog.

Here's the kicker... dude was clearly Mexican right down to having those super stylized letters tattooed on his fingers that is stereotypical letter type that is tied to Latino gangs.

Black Commissioner then goes:
"Son, I was a United States Marine that spent time in Vietnam. I am the LAST Judicial Officer you should pick to try and charge for a fight"

I think you've told me this story before. Sounds like the guy was mentally ill.

Either way, racial slurs are just another in an endless line, but it makes me sad about saying it to the dog, strangely.

Only black men, and really black men at that, can pull off face tattoos without looking like a psychopath imo.

Not townhall and breitbart, you tally whacker.

But I edited my post to include the local news story (I think your first link).

Facts check out, but leave out the procedural impetus.

You asked for a name and sources. I provided them without comment. If you only accept news from CNN and MSNBC please clarify next time.

Let’s open a Gofundme to support him..

This has happened before to this Commissioner is why and I think I've told the story before. He dropped $2000 bail on a Juvenile (our jurisdiction a juvenile's bail doesn't usually bump much past $500) because every time he got out he'd miss his next appearance and end up on warrant status for 2 months.

Granted in my line of work I never see the nicest of people in the world. Even when I was a bouncer the guy's I saw with facial tats were twatwaffles. Even the dude's in bands.
