Updated content, as the story is just breaking:

The prime minister said the government had concluded it was "highly likely" that Russia was responsible for the attack on Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury on 4 March.

She said Russia's ambassador in London had been summoned to explain whether it was "a direct action by the Russian state" or the result of it "losing control" of its stock of nerve agents.

The question is what is to,be done about it.

This was basicly a terrorist attack that could have kill many.

I'm not saying declear war by any means but you have to do something.

Trumps buddy at it again, aren't you rubes happy you allowed this man to affect our election?

What a shit show.

Last year, a Buzzfeed investigation revealed that U.S. intelligence agencies have identified 14 murders in the U.K. linked to Russia. The victims include a former financier turned whistleblower, Alexander Perepilichnyy, and a medical doctor, Matthew Puncher, who helped authorities investigate the murder of Litvinenko.

In all of these cases, Buzzfeed reported, U.S. spy agencies provided their British counterparts with intelligence that implicated Russian security services or the Russian mafia. But the official investigations never went there. Puncher, who was found dead after multiple stab wounds, was ruled a suicide.

Even in the case of Litvinenko, the public reckoning was slow-rolled and watered down. The British inquiry into his killing took 10 years. In the end, Interpol notices were issued against two FSB agents, but not the former head of that agency, Nikolai Patrushev, who was implicated in the final report by its lead judge, Sir Robert Owen. And while Owen concluded the Litvinenko murder was "probably" ordered by Putin, he could not go further, in part because some of the evidence he had seen remains

Nah. Just all this Skripals, Litvinenkos and Berezovskys are russophobes. They hate Russia and they poison themselves and kill themselves in UK to harm Russia and it's reputation.

And I believe there is a cop/first responder who was poisoned as a result as well. Even if you want to assassinate your own - using nerve agent as Russia did was reckless. Why not just shoot him or knife him? He's still dead and you don't run the risk of killing innocent people

But maybe it's those damn Mongols sending the signal to Putin that they want Moscow and Russia back.

these 400 pound guys in basements sure sneak around easily

The Western World needs to unite and impose the strictest sanctions on Russia and tank their economy.

No more consuming Russian oil and give no access to Western banks, seize any Russian assets currently in the banking system.

All out economic warfare until the Oligarchs turn on Putin

You know I might have said the same thing if they would have gone after just the ex spy and not his daughter and everyone in the restaurant with nerve gas powder.

At this point it’s pretty clear western nations (us/uk mainly) want a war with Russia n are looking for false flag to justify hostility n eventual conflict

This was most likely done by cia or mi5
