Drag queens at London Pride

When Donald Trump visits the United Kingdom later this summer, he’s going to be welcomed by a throng of protesting drag queens.

Several U.K. drag performers have organized a march in London to protest Trump’s visit to the United Kingdom, citing their opposition to many of his LGBTQ-related policies, from his rescinding of guidance to protect transgender schoolchildren to his proposed ban on transgender military personnel to the censoring of LGBTQ health information on federal websites.

“Due to the appalling way the Trump administration has regarded the rights and welfare of LGBTQI communities of the US, the idea of a Trump visit to the UK is unacceptable,” the Facebook page for the protest reads. “Let’s get visible, stand with our sisters, brothers and others in America, and show that we are a country that celebrates diversity.”

Cheddar Gorgeous, one of the drag queens who’s one of the event’s chief organizers, wrote an op-ed in The Guardian explaining the reason for the protest, which is scheduled for July 13.

More than 1,000 people have indicated that they will be attending, and more than 7,000 are interested in attending.

Never cared for drag queens. If you're going to dress like a woman, at least put effort into looking like one and shave that fucking mustache and your legs.

I voted completely false just so I could see the poll results.
I know they have an issue, but nothing Drumf says is absolutely true.

Yeah the poll options are a bit too polarized, would like some middle ground. Reminds me of a game I once played that had two difficulty settings; super easy and super hard. Come on man, there really isn't anything in between?

Fuck, I didn't even notice the furry legs until you mentioned it.

Maybe they don't want to look like a woman. Perhaps they want to look like a modern feminist.

If
I tell you what, the moment a war starts or any sort of conflict every cunt in this god forsaken dump waits for Americas involvement and lets them take action and now you wanna act like this?

Sending pink poofs to the streets? We are so dead when war starts lol it's hilarious, we are the joke of the world.

You Americans should just cut contact now, we are like that unstable booty call you could easily live without.

Oh and if we got bombed by Russia just say 'well, we weren't welcome'
We get bombed by Russia, it's because trump is undermining NATO and, letting Putin do what he wants

If

Yes, that must be what he's doing.

That monster, unfairly whipping deadbeat NATO members into shape and force some of their wealthiest members to (finally) be combat-ready like that. It's almost like this orange guy think they're a professional military alliance with mutual responsibilities against a common adversary or some shit.

Say, why don't you come on over to the NATO thread and we can continue this amusing convo there? :)

It's weird Scotland has had a Muslim population since before I was born mainly from the Sub-continent. I've never noticed any major problems in the central belt here.

I can only speak to what i know though. The poll is satire? As i imagine the truth runs somewhere inbetween.

Yeah, the wording was a tonge-in-cheek poke at the WR's tendency to force everything into two polar opposites leading up the 2016 U.S Presidential Election (You're either a Nazi or a Socialist, etc).

I did the same thing for the Germany's Multicultural Experiment thread. That one is depressing as hell though, because the chasm the German government dug themselves in with all the fake refugees is at least 65,000 times deeper with no easy way out.

We can actually have some laughs with this thread here from time to time, since it involves multiple clowns of all shapes and sizes.

Got you. Need to catch up with the thread more before i add anything substantive. Just wanted to check the poll wasn't being 100% serious :)

The play-by-play discussion for the British Parliament Debate on Banning Donald J. Trump starts on Page 2. I suggest you start from there for maximum giggles! :D

There was one MP who was sober enough to caution everyone else in the chamber to settle down, cause they'll have to backpedal later if Trump win the election, which is exactly what happened, lol.

I' love to know what percent of the 173 who voted there' an issue here in the UK actually live here.

Not saying you don't have a point but I think part of the reason people are taken aback by Trumps stance towards NATO is that it sort of breaks the unwritten contract underlying it. Ostensibly its supposed to be a military alliance where everyone contributes their fair share but in practice it was a way for the US to contain the Soviet Union and for that purpose only the top dog armed forces, primarily the US, mattered.

So in a way we grew to expect that some, maybe even most, NATO members wouldn't pull their own weight and in a sense that works to our advantage. If we're the backbone of NATO and we're one of the only ones reaching the 2% spending mark it means the free riders have to stay quiet or contribute more. More investment tends to mean more say, or more desire for a say, but most NATO members were okay with following our lead and I think US establishment interests preferred it that way. Really, whether or not Estonia reaches the minimum spending mandated by NATO hardly matters.

Something really wrong when a leader of one country feels the need to go to another country and speak to their people about whats going wrong in their country. I mean if he is genuinely worried about UK. Wouldnt it be better to talk to the leaders of the country? I mean he has easy access to them.

I see the same posters in here who are obsessed with uk and keep telling us whats going on there, despite never being there. In the end I doubt trump or posters here care one bit about the British people. But more hatred towards muslims

What on Earth is this time traveler talking about?

Trump's trip to the U.K is still two months from now and you already know what gonna happen? Who is he gonna be speaking with instead of "the leaders of the country"? o_O

Muslims do not intergrate in general. The koran tells them, 'Never befriend an infidel, unless it is to your advantage.
