Resistant to damage, scratches etc. A scratch doesn't fuck paintwork and make it rust, cheap to repair it, lightweight and looks fuckin cool

Whatever had the highest price tag back then. I would then sell it and buy a "normal" car and use the other money on something else...

If I had to a pick a reasonable car to own from the 80's, I would choose a Buick Grand National.
