No idea why Ilunga was given this world title fight. I hope Vakhitov stops him and Ilunga will not show again the 2011-2014 level!

GLORY 56 Denver
Light Heavyweight Artem Vakhitov (c) vs. Danyo Ilunga
Super Bantamweight Anissa Meksen (c) vs. Jady Menezes
Featherweight Serhii Adamchuk vs. Anvar Boynazarov

GLORY 56 SuperFight Series
Middleweight Simon Marcus vs. Jason Wilnis
Light Heavyweight Chris Camozzi vs. John King
Light Heavyweight Myron Dennis vs. Danny Mitchell

GLORY 56 Prelims
Middleweight Zack Wells vs. Ryot Waller
Lightweight Justin Houghton vs. Troy Sheridan

Ilunga should have had 1 more win before he got the title shot.

Also glad that myron is given another fight. Was really impressed by his chin and heart in the fight against Pavel.

Pavel Zhuravlev is interim champion.

Why he didn't get his shot vs Vakhitov?

He's injured and probably neither Vakhitov or Glory want to sit around doing nothing so rather have a fight while Pavel heals up.

Vakhitov vs. Zhuravlev would be such an interesting fight.

We need Camozzi vs Vakhitov for the belt!

Danyo will be in perfect shape. The level of 2011-14 is achievable.

I'm not sure that Camozzi moving up to LHW is a great idea. One of the few advantages he had at middleweight over more experienced kickboxers was his ability to cut weight and be big compared to his opponent and hit hard without polished technique.

I think Cozmâncă destroys Ilunga even at the moment. He will refuse nobody since he took a fight on short notice when he was very young, against Murat Aygun of Peter Aerts. Plus he beat Cikotic years ago in FFC.

I know the opposition was poorer since Aygun and Brunswijk, but since then he destroyed so many opponents starting with Damian Garcia in Superkombat. To the body, to the liver, plus he has the hook of Ghiță, high kicks, knee kicks, he"s only missing better low kicks to become one of the most complete fighters I have ever seen. I am not sure Romania can develop him like the Netherlands, but trained by the best Dutch coach he would become major star like former K-1 legends.

I didn"t pay so much attention but I am glad somebody is posting videos with Colosseum. He is from Scorpions Iași (Moroșanu, Ciobanu, Hurduc brothers, Năstase, etc). Only 25 years old.

So Cor Hemmers, you better see this buddy!

i know nothing about muay thai, but met Marcus when he was here in Vegas a couple weeks ago. really nice guy.

Surprisingly, Jeff Mayweather kicked almost as well as Marcus

A fighter who I haven't fought but who I'd like to fight?
Coming up in the possible near future will be Artur Kyshenko from Ukraine he's killing it right now in China

Funny seeing Glory 85 kg guys left and right talking about Kyshenko
