sucks man.
A CalFire offical basically said the whole town is "wiped out."
My house is gone. 99.99% chance it's gone.
Horrible idea. Fire hydrants are tied the main water system. When you get a leak, it reduces water pressure. Firemen need all the pressure they can get in these situations.I hope your house makes it, if you haven't evacuated yet I would turn on the sprinklers, I remember reading about a house that got saved by that, you can also water hose your home. Good luck dude!
Sadly, my wife and own two outfits each. We didn't save anything. The Vitamix is gone. No smoothies. LoL. So much fucking money and work is vaporized.
I'm not not a materialistic person, but I now own basically nothing.
It was a really tight, safe and loving community. Like old school US. And now it's gone. It just gone I guess.
It is a very selfish idea indeed.Horrible idea. Fire hydrants are tied the main water system. When you get a leak, it reduces water pressure. Firemen need all the pressure they can get in these situations.
I don't care that my house is gone. My entire community is gone . It all burned down. That is what hurts. My world is goneYou will only miss it for a second and wont bother to replace half of it ... I been there a few years ago with a house fire.
Your loved ones and your memories remain
