Luke Thomas: Tenshin is much better striker than Conor

If you mean head to head if they fought, Conor would KO him. Way too big and strong for him. If you mean technically, Luke may have a point as Conor doesn't have great leg kicks (outside of the kick to the body) but Conor is light years ahead with the hands.
Conor would wrestle him from the opening bell

Tenshin struggled with MMA fighter Horiguchi in kickboxing, and appeared to have the worse hands.
He also needed to illegally kick Horiguchi in the balls first to gain momentum.

Realistically, a Machida/Tenshin comparison makes much more sense.

Max conor would last is 1 round. Totally neutralized in standup

And that only means 1 thing. Conors only chance and go-to would be panic wrestling and he's failed everytime he's relied on panic wrestlling to bail him out

What does conor have? He got beat by sloth speed Diaz and Tenshin is twice as fast as Conor

Conor is 3-3 against people his own size.

Tenshin is a way better striker.
How many times did Conor fail to make weight at FW, again? Khabib missed LW twice, and how many win against Top 5 WW's does he have to show for it?

Puhlease. Tenshin can come prove himself in the show. Minnow in a minor league sideshow until then afaic.

Conor is better because he only needs to touch his opponent once

You don't even need a pro record for people to know you will be champ. The thing is what you see is what you see, and the kid has speed and is dynamic. Tenshin also has a proven amateur career

A perfect example is Roy Jones. 0-0 record right out of the Olympics people already knew he was gonna be champ because no pro fighter had the same skills as him. Hadn't even won 1 pro fight but everyone knew he was gonna be champ. And he was older than Tenshin

Another example is Jon Jones. 7-0 fought nobodies, no extensive amateur record, but people already called him champ because they can see his striking and compare it to the top fighters. They saw that it wasn't comparable, Jones was way better then the top fighters even though he never fought anyone. What you see is what you see.

Poor Conor fans, they can’t catch a break recently

Only delusional Conor fanboys think that he’s an elite striker.

When’s the last time Conor has ever hurt an opponent with or landed a significant strike that led to a finish other than with his hands? His kicking game is overrated..... honestly it sucks, he doesn’t know how to use his knees or elbows for that matter. His claim to fame was being a southpaw with good timing and a ridiculous reach advantage on almost all of his opponents,

got a beautiful knee going on
That is for sure, he has a ferocious knee to the body, and an overall great body attack. He is only 20, and although he has trained striking for a long time still has a lot to evolve, specially in the defensive part.

However there are things that make the different between an average striker and a top one. Things that are not that easy to train, that are mostly innate: Killer instint, ferocity and fluidity. And this guy has plenty of them. He is relentless when he smells blood.

He will tight up his game with the time, but with all he has showed already, there is not doubt he can become one of the top stars in the combat sports.

"Jonas Speed Bilharino is a MUCH better striker than Conor" - Joe Rogan and Sherdog Circa 2015

This little guy would lit up Conor like a Christmas tree.

Tenshin's striking accolades shit on Conor's.
Winnng two UFC titles, and doing so by just striking, trump winning any local Japanese karate tournament and kick boxing tournaments. Look what happened to Joe Schilling (the greatest striker in the world according to "striking experts" like Rogan) when he fought a bum in MMA and then kick boxing, or look what happened to Saki when he fought a no name MMA fighter in a purely striking battle.

Hillarious Conor gets wrestle fucked and now he's a bum at the things he was clearly incredible at. <Lmaoo>

He's a far better striker. Luke isn't wrong.
