Sound dumb, but at least TJ will go down as two weight champ baby!

Everyone wants to be a double champ these days

Why does this surprise anyone? If you have the choice of fighting at the weight where you can gain a 2nd belt, vs defending a belt and potentially being left with none if you lose, you're gonna choose to try and get the 2nd belt. TJ is an opportunist and isn't going to take the fight where he has something to lose, and Scumbag Dana will use it as an opportunity to flaunt another artificial double champ.

By the way its weird how he just gets a pass for ducking the fight at 135 where he has more to lose, he's trying to position himself as the 135lb GOAT so why is he afraid to defend the belt against a 125er? And why is he taking this fight over defending against Moraes/Cruz/etc? TJ is more of a duck than DJ.

Fighting for a belt in a division the UFC has already confirmed is being eliminated?

Mkay.

This is the best way to get rid of the Flyweight and that belt.

If Cejudo goes up and wins, why should they cut his division and get rid of his belt?

But if TJ goes down and wins, they can “absorb”. The lower weight class into BW and merge the belts.

TJ wants that champ champ status

TJ wants to avoid Cruz incase of Cejudo pulling out, also he probably played ball on who wants to be 2 division champion.

so we just gonna ignore that TJ is ducking Moares so hard he's willing to cut an extra 10 lbs

gtfoh

cant we stop this champ champ stuff? its becoming normal and not something special.

TJ ain’t risking his 135 belt.. he’s going to go to 125 so in case he loses, he’ll have an “excuse”

It robbed a dominant champion of his record breaking victory, and arguablly allowed UFC to eliminate the whole division, due to its profitability, though they may argue it was due to its depth, but then we have WMMA divisions with 4 top fighters, and that's being generous.

HAHAHHAHHAHAA WHAT

A close fight a lot of people scored for Cejudo isn't the "biggest robbery of all time" you fucking melon

Not a fan at all of these champs getting title shots in other divisions just because they are champions.

Conor, GSP, DC (who had the best case due to actually being an undefeated HW). Now TJ. Enough is enough already.

Anderson once DESTROYED 3 LHW's during his reign and never even got a title shot. What ever happened to earning the title shot? I'm not interested in this fight AT ALL. Would much rather see TJ fight Moraes.

This guy. Dick pill popper sure beat world beaters at 205s./ Why? Cuz he ducked good ones. lol

Cejudo won the fight fair and square. Yes it was close, but so are many fights. It's part of the game, close decisions are not "robbery".

It was a veeery close fight. I had cejudo winning but you can definitely make an argument for mm. Too close.

From a business standpoint:

WMMA>Men’s flyweight
The draw in viewership may be slightly lower or equal and the women on average get paid less so there is more profit for the company.
