Economy Bitcoin dead. Bagholders got conned. Update: it died again. Bagholders are still LOSERS

I said "all but the rarest limited editions." The Ford GT, Mercedes Project One and Ferraris built for collector's (LaFerrari, Enzo, etc) are all produced in artificially scarce numbers to raise value. The typical Ferrari for sale at a dealership wont appreciate until years after production ends.
You actually said "in the short term, all". But it's semantics at this point, you seem to understand. I had a 2008 430 Scuderia for sale for several months...some cars certainly do depreciate.

Never understood why people originally started accepting crypto-currency, since anyone can create their own brand of crypto currency and or mint an existing brand ; all it takes is time and computing resources. Now that it has taken hold I can understand if someone is willing to accept Bitcoin that is several times the face value of the item or service they are selling/providing , because they expect to re-sell it for a tidy profit. But I don't see the attraction of crypto currency if you are transferring ownership of goods or providing services for the market value of the crypto-currency.

Only attraction I can see is using crypto-currency for stuff that is not legal.

I'm still pissed I didnt invest when first heard about it, and it was around 350 each.

Definitely one of those 'kick yourself in the ass' scenarios.

Fuck off. I heard about it in 2010 when it was less than a dollar. Broke as fuck conspiracy theorist roommate was trying to get me to buy just 50 dollars worth (since I had at least some saved up). I blew him off as just another dumbass got too high moment and got infatuated with something meaningless

I could have paid off all my student loans and bought a house in that Dec 2017 high :(

Who was the guy who raged every time somebody didn't praise Bitcoin and had a weird obsession with being a "Centrist"

It was definitely Der Eisbär, and you best show a little fucking respect, he's gotta be like 2 years into his political science degree by now.

OMG it's "over" because some turd on Sherdog says so. Still worth 10 times more than what I paid for it, and it's cash value on my sportsbook accounts has not changed.

Not my fault you bought into the "College is the way to go" lie. Your student debts are your own problem, dont cry about them to anyone but yourself and the bottom of a bottle.

Lol college is the way to go. Not everyone wants to work their hands to the bone in a trade and die by 50

I remember on its run up I was shocked it would ever surpass 1k. So even if it dropped to "only" 6k from its nearly 20k high, that's still a phenomenally overpriced "currency".

I wonder how this guy feels today:
Bitcoin-McLaren.jpg

Traded his 720s for a measly 25 bitcoins during its height.
At it's height that would have been a half million. For a $300,000 car. So it all depends what he did with it. If he sat on it, he's probably kicking himself. But if he turned around and flipped it, he may have turned a tidy profit.

Der Eisbar? I'm only guessing from the "centrist" part.

Yeah, I've been really taking an interest in Schiff ever since @Jack V Savage starting posting about how brilliant and influential on him Schiff had become.
???
Isn't schiff a wingnut that believes the imminent collapse is always coming?

I'm not sure what is worse, the college scam or the trade school scam. College scam being paying a lot of money to graduate in gender studies instead of something lucrative like engineering, law or med and the trade scam being "hey you know welders can make 100k a year?". It's true, if you want to work in a oil field and die by 30.

You can always avoid both and sell your soul to retail.

LOL. I'm making 90k plus bonuses on top just a few years out of my engineering school. I'm making plenty to cover the loans, just would be nice if they were gone ya know?

If you can't see a lamenting towards missing an opportunity where 50 bucks would have paid out into hundreds of thousands and get all butt hurt about it, I don't know what to tell you

You pretty much need a masters degree nowadays to advance to any meaningful position in a top company. There will be the oddball savants that are just that good but unfortunately no one here fits that.

@Nik123

Where your con artist ass at? Was I right or was I right about your tulips?

Hi dipshit.

Nothing has changed- Bakkt and Fidelity are about to enter crypto, the institutions are coming. The bitcoin ETF is also likely to be approved.

Tulips is a tired misinformed analogy only the uneducated use, so no surprises there. Tulips are flowers, not a disruptive open source technology.

Come back to me in 3 years, not every month when there is a market downturn in a well established bear market. I get that you don’t have a strong command of the language - but it’s clear that this is a long term investment as I’ve stated countless times. Bitcoin has been declared dead about 300 times, by intellectually challenged and strategically myopic individuals like yourself. It’s still up several times from where it was at the start of last year.

I just bought more today. How’s your mums basement treating you? Want a biscuit?

Exactly. It boggles my mind how stupid some people.

Edit: I just noticed who started the thread. Potentially the most mentally challenged retard to ever stumble on sherdog.

Sorry, I just know a lot of people that bitch non stop about the student loans they took out to pay for degrees that dont get them anywhere.

Lol, I'm guessing silver and gold are dead too because they aren't anywhere near their most recent top?

Silver dipped below $14/ozt. earlier in the week and I picked up 500 ounces.

I'm gearing up for a bull run on metals.

<Moves>

Even if the bull run is all bullshit, my ask for silver right now is $15/ozt. Silver flies off the shelves this time of year.

As for the OP, I bought .0101 of a bitcoin when it was $1000/coin. For a $10 investment, I pulled out at its zenith for a take of $200.

Bought in at 72 sold out at 273. That's why I'm on sherdog shitposting instead of on some nice boat.
