Should all money be banned completely?

What are you going to trade survival skills for?
Not trade them. Use them.

Do you know how much water there is in your skin? A lot. If you know how to extract it safely you could survive for days.

Our bodies are made of 90% water.

It's done. I can't see a thing he is typing now. smh. lol I've got 2 people on 6-month ignore now. Took a guy off back in November.

Once an exchange become pointless and you can tell the other person is "off", it's best to move on. That's what ignore is for. I just like to tell people, so they won't continue talking to themselves. Either way, he won't care much tomorrow and I already don't care.
Nobody cares about who you have muted.

Bartering system was tried and it people were still violent douchbags. Money is like a knife, you can use it as a tool to make your life easier or be used by it and misuse it and cause misery. If you apply deductive reasoning, you realize that its humans rotten nature that dirties up the usage of money.

That being said, I have an online business and for my content I want money so I can use it in a flexible manner. I don't exchange my content for a bag of potatoes and extended usage of internet.
Don't or won't?

This is a pretty dumb thread as many have pointed out TS. Just cut your losses and bow out.

This is just getting ridiculous now.

I've proved my point and proved that money is bullshit.

Ask yourself this.....

If you were stranded in a desert and desperate for a drink of water, what use would your money be?

Well, I was just having fun, but as to your example, it illustrates why not having money would grind innovation to a halt.

The quest for huge amounts of money has led to a very large percentage of incredible technologies being created by accident.

A barter society would have to be infinitely more pragmatic. If you don't have a skill or product that people need immediately, you starve to death.

I have destroyed every argument you guys have tried to use actually.

Give a man a fish and he can feed himself for a day. But give a man a fishing rod and he can exchange that fishing rod with someone for 2 or maybe even 3 fish.

What does this have to do with what I posted?

What does what you posted have to do with anything that I posted? This debate only descended into nonsense when you joined.

You are obviously trying to sabotage my thread.

Governments don't like you bartering and trading with other people because then they can't tax you.
I agree money is bullshit. But you can't have a civilization without it. The real focus should be on banning civilization but good luck doing that.

That post directly addressed your point.

Don't or won't?

Its more like I can't. Its not feasible in todays society to barter. No matter if we live in capitalism, socialism, communism or whatever ism we reside in, human beings will go to the depth to try and abuse whatever system it is and this includes the bartering system.

Lets say I am bartering my product online. A surgeon says " You give me x amount of your service and in turn I give you a surgery when you need it, sounds good?"

Ok lets say I need the service of the surgent but he might no longer be alive because he was in an accident and passed away. His colleges would be like " well the deal you had was with him not us, so we don't have to give you this surgery"

Your system sucks bro, no easy way to say it, it is simply a horrible deal and pain in the ass. You go to grocery and guy in front of the line once to pay his grocery bill by giving you a mouse trap. No good man, no good!

Think about it.

If there was no money there would be no poverty. Everyone would have to trade goods or services for other goods and services.

Banning money would be a clean slate where everyone gets a fair start. That has to be better than the current system we have now where people are starving to death just because they don't have enough digits on a computer screen.

Think about it.

If we ban money that will not solve the poverty question.

If a woman offered you sexual favors in exchange for fixing her leaking taps what would you say?

Yes it will. The poor would no longer require money and therefore would no longer be poor.

Food has value.
Even if you remove money, you will not be able to remove value.
They will have to give something in order to receive food.
