Do UFC fighters actually make a profit from their little side businesses?

I hope they do, but look at what happened to Bigg Rigg's Steakhouse. You got Condit's coffee gig, GSP's quacky Hydroevolution stuff, Rumble's Marijuana business or whatever.

Some of these things seem like massive money sinks. What do you think?

Like virtually any other entrepreneur, I imagine it varies person to person

I don't think that hydroevolution stuff is GSP's business. He's most likely getting paid to advertise their product.

Huh? I thought he owned it... or at least part owned it.

No Love Clementi had tanning salons and was able to leave UFC

TS obviously never tried a 'Famous Burger'..

I would imagine tonstof fighters have side businesses. Even if they aren't burger joints with their face on it I'm sure plenty have invested in or started stuff to bring extra income. Jacob Volkmann was a full time chiropractor with his own clinic while fighting 8 or 9 times in 18 months.

This is basically what happens when marginally popular UFC guys go into over-saturated specialty markets with huge barriers to entry and tiny market share.

Restaurants are notoriously unforgiving and Hendricks just isn't smart enough to succeed in one.
