1. "He's Donald Trump" is a poor argument. Please provide a reason to think he is racist.
2. When people act as if they dislike something, it isn't crazy to think they dislike it. Does Ilhan Omar dislike Amercia? Maybe, maybe not. But she's certainly made it easy for other folks to think so, which is why she is disliked to such an extent nationally. A really easy way for her to parry this sort of attacks would be to talk about what she likes about America and its people sometimes.
3. This is not a good counter argument. Of course Trump is allowed to say what ideas he thinks are American or unAmerican. So are you. I think the reason the "RACISM!!" strategy was employed by Congressional Dems here is that they fear they will lose this particular debate.
4. Your view that folks on the right see no problems with the US is a strawman. Of course they do.

1. lol What? Are we seriously going to pretend like Trump has no racial "mishaps"?
I'm not going to say he is a straight up racist, but you really going to look at all the "racially insensitive" shit he's said and tell me you can't possibly understand how anyone could come to the conclusion that he MIGHT be a little racist? Properties that he managed not renting to blacks, "They don't look Indian to me"/Indian casino are full of crimes, Death penalty for the innocent 5 black guys that were falsely accused of rape, a Mexican American judge can't properly judge a case because he's Mexican, Shithole countries, "Go back to your country" to black and brown AMERICAN citizens/governemnt workers....that's just off the top of my head. Come on.

2. What do you mean when people act like they dislike something? How did she do that?
What exactly did she say or do that gives you the impression that she HATES America? Again, that she HATES the country that she voluntarily is working for. You don't think that's an incredibly strong statement/charge to make towards someone? How closely do you follow Omar? You're trying to tell me she never talks about her love for the country? Do you think a Muslim Somalian woman was elected in Minnesota on a campaign of how she hates America? With the way news and media is (especially the news that you probably listen to), you're obviously just going to hear "the bad".
She gets this "she hates America" criticism because she wasn't born here. That's it. There's no rule that a refugee or immigrant can't criticize their new country. She's as American as anyone else, and that's her right. She's made some of the same complaints a lot of other people have made/are making, and they're not being accused of hating America.

3. I didn't say he can't say his ideas. He can. But he doesn't get to tell other people that their views are unAmerican. Well, he can, but it's a stupid thing to say. Republicans and Democrats have different views on a range of things, but either side telling the other "you're not American, go away" is not an argument an adult should ever make, especially one that is in government.

4. The right wing only sees problems that have an effect on them. If you criticize the mistakes and wrongs that America has done, it's the right that are ready to yell "You hate America" at you.

Why didn't Trump leave America when he said it was being 'ruined' and 'going to hell' during Obama's reign? Why didn't all those on the right that enjoyed the freedom to openly criticize Obama's policies think hang on, this isn't patriotic, if I don't like it here I should leave?

Do you think, maybe, it's because they're a bunch of hypocritical simpletons that were in fact never interested in legal vs illegal immigration, only the color and origin of the immigrant?

So Democratic Socialism is Capitalism?

Waiting on an answer.

You say that like the current system is actual capitalism.

We've been a social democracy for the better part of the last century and certainly your entire life.

"No history of racism"

Please do elaborate. I’ve asked a few of you tards, not one can come up with an actual time he was racist.

Yeah, but you're the moron who thought Nazis were socialists. We don't expect you to understand much.

I consulted the wikipedia and ADL about "what the 14 stands for", and both are clear that it stands for the 14 words and that's all, like I assumed. I have no clue what else it is supposed to stand for, as the nincompoops making up shit didn't enlighten us on it.

Whatever helps you sleep at night.

Like I said, that's what the fourteen words stand for. The fourteen words are not 14/88. Try to read, retard. 88 is not 14.

I'm not a white supremacist, you dumb cunt. I'm a nationalist, as I've stated time and time again. I believe every nation needs a home, and am vehemently opposed to all globalism, be it "white" or whatever colored.

Yes you certainly are.

This is hilarious, I actually got sucked into thinking Trump may have said something racist this time.

But after a closer look it's obvious that this is just more evil lies from the morally and intellectually bankrupt left.

Those folks chanting that were pathetic . . . we're better than that.
No we're not . You obviously haven't been paying attention.

That is America and Trump is only making it worse.

It's capitalism with a heart.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_socialism
Democratic socialism is a political philosophy that advocates political democracy alongside a socially owned economy,[1] with an emphasis on workers' self-management and democratic control of economic institutions within a market or some form of a decentralised planned socialist economy. Democratic socialists argue that capitalism is inherently incompatible with the values of liberty, equality and solidarity and that these ideals can be achieved only through the realisation of a socialist society. Democratic socialism can support either revolutionary or reformist politics as a means to establish socialism.

In the term democratic socialism, the adjective democratic is added and used to distinguish democratic socialists from Marxist–Leninist inspired socialism which to many is viewed as being undemocratic or authoritarian in practice. Democratic socialists oppose the Stalinist political system and the Soviet-type economic system, rejecting the perceived authoritarian form of governance and highly centralised command economy that took form in the Soviet Union and other Marxist–Leninist states in the early 20th century. Democratic socialism is distinguished from 20th-century social democracy on the basis that democratic socialists are committed to systemic transformation of the economy from capitalism to socialism whereas modern social democrats are opposed to ultimately ending capitalism and are instead supportive of progressive reforms to capitalism.

In contrast to modern social democrats, democratic socialists believe that reforms state interventions aimed at addressing social inequalities and suppressing the economic contradictions of capitalism would only see them emerge elsewhere in a different guise. Democratic socialists believe that the systemic issues of capitalism can only be solved by replacing the capitalist economic system with socialism, i.e. by replacing private ownership with collective ownership of the means of production and extending democracy to the economic sphere. The origins of democratic socialism can be traced to 19th-century utopian socialist thinkers and the British Chartist movement that differed in detail yet all shared the essence of democratic decision making and public ownership of the means of production as positive characteristics of the society they advocated. In the early 20th century, the gradualist, reformist socialism promoted by the British Fabian Society and Eduard Bernstein's evolutionary socialism in Germany influenced the development of democratic socialism.
This is the problem in this country with the new Left: the astounding ignorance of those who advocate for policies (and the politicians like "the squad" who embrace them) they don't understand on the most basic level.

We aren't horrible people now, we've been horrible people for a long time and Trump is making it worse and giving the worst of us courage to make overtly racist chants right to his face.

I never said horrible people just showed up recently.

Not sure where YOU'VE been, but horrible people have existed forever and didn't need Trump to make them more horrible or to give them a chance to show how horrible they are.

Regardless, I'm not basing my happiness or satisfaction in life on how those douchebags behave or what they say.

Those people are Trump supporters.

Are you a Trump supporter?

Those people are Trump supporters.

And you think that supporting Trump makes them horrible people? Do you honestly believe that they suddenly became brave, horrible, racists all because of Trump?

I think a lot of them have always been horrible, racist people . . . the cameras just happened to catch them acting out this time.

Are you a Trump supporter?

I voted for Trump and support whoever is in the Oval Office. I'd prefer that individual succeed for the good of the country.

Am I horrible now too?
