Sounds about right for Covington. There has yet to be any legitimate data to say he's a draw, or that the UFC even gives that much of a damn about him.

I understand Colby wants to get paid but dudes gonna look back and this time and realize he fucked himself by playing these games. Could have gotten the title shot and if he won been the champ and then started making demands for bigger money when he had the belt.

He doesnt realize he's not a superstar and he's in a div with other guys and UFC has no problem playing hardball and going with the next guy up.

Yes they have a reason, he is not taking the fights, he didn't deserved that interim TS in first place, he should be grateful they gave him that shot in first place
 
I don't believe Ariel at all. It will be Colby vs Usman for the main or co at either MSG or December. The UFC isn't balking because Colby want's at 500K show. That's nothing, especially since Colby is somewhat of a draw and the UFC now get's nearly 100% of PPV profits since its only through ESPN instead of splitting 50/50 with the PPV providers in the past. Colby and his managers wouldn't blow the opportunity.
 
This is on Dan Lambert, IF true. He manages Colby, if Colby is asking for crazy money he should be the person that stops that demand from actually being made.

While this would indeed be hilarious, I can just as easily see it as a standard UFC negotation tactic...i.e. make Cringe think they are passing him over again, to get him to agree to a shittier deal.

Virtually zero interest in Nate-Cringe though...if Usman-Gamebred gets made, then I hope we get the Nate-Conor trilogy.

He's only a manager. If he advises to take a deal, Colby can still say no, fuck you, keep negotiating. Also, what's too much? They pay him $45k to show right now. Is he asking for millions? I doubt it's a flat 100k, even. And NY is notorious to fighters for high taxes.

Anyways, now I understand why Dana shat on Nate recently. They're taking the Mas fight from him.

I hope this blows up in their face, though - Mas wins the title, then pushes for the Nate fight and loses the title to Nate. Diaz as Champ... Dana's worst nightmare.
