Singular Australian client sounds a bit Nigerian prince like, doesn't it? I think deep down they knew it was bullshit, but they wanted the money and prayed it didn't come back to them. Don't get me wrong though, the guys were scum and I'm glad they lost the lawsuit.

It's so easy to sit back and use terms like "slut", "whore", whatever and blame what amounts to children being taken advantage of, and yes I'm well aware 18 is legal, but anyone with a few miles behind them knows that 18 is still a puppy.

I'm clearly going old school here, but in cases like this I always wonder where the MEN are. I believe it is our duty as men to protect others from this sort of thing. In addition to the money they have to pay I also think every person involved should get their asses soundly beaten.

Just curious, did you read the court case? There is a lot more to it. As I said in the previous thread, it was pretty obvious the girls had a strong case and that GDP was fucked. They "made money and ran a business" using business practices that would open them up to litigation no matter what the product is. You say "he paid them", but compensation was negotiated under completely different circumstances. It can be corroborated by prior employers and obviously all of the plaintiffs who were told the video would not be put on the net. Naive by them - of course, but GDP puts the videos up themselves on several sites, including free sites to advertise for their paid site. Now there are two arguments there - would the girls have even gone through with it based on those circumstances, but at bare minimum, compensation wasn't agreed upon under those terms. So "he paid them" isn't really accurate as it doesn't represent compensation for what actually happened and produced revenue for GDP.

This case would have been a lot more difficult if there were not several plaintiffs and/or prior employees who revealed the tactics. I really don't understand how people can hate this type of lawsuit. Most that say they think it's bullshit likely didn't read it or understand what was going on. Many have said it just sets a precedent where the girls do not have to take responsibility for their actions. How can that not be applied to GDP based on the evidence? Any business that does a bait and switch like that should be open to litigation and take responsibility for their actions as well.

Good post. In regards to GDP's site, I think it had a niche market. Many sites have played upon the naive girl being exploited narrative, but GDP was really taking it to the extreme. The sex is basically fast and rough throughout. You can tell most of the girls aren't enjoying it at all, whereas other sites like exploited college girls have the naive girl narrative but they are actually getting the girl off too. I'd agree a lot of the obsession with "slut shaming" on Sherdog does come across as very unpleasant, the most unpleasant aspect of these forums for me outside of the War Room, this forum seems to hate the idea of incels but honestly I think it has a very strong incel element to it, or at least people with very similar mind sets.

I do have to say though I don't really agree with the opposite view of franklinstower either though that this is somehow automatically what sexually graphic material must be, that no right thinking woman would ever be involved in it and it must be the result of abuse and manipulation. To me this kind of puritanism ends up feeding situations like these, you have such scummy people involved because your dealing with a taboo area, making it even more taboo isn't IMHO going to help.

I mean look at religion and sexual abuse, the two seemingly go hand in hand an insane amount and I think that's due to the subject being taboo, abusers can get away with more for longer.
