He didn't dive, but he also didn't come to fight. Conor's return fight should have been against Justin.
 
Dude got hit by a shoulder and took a foot slap to the chin. Either Cerrone is shot to shit or he took a dive.
 
He got rocked when he ducked into conors knee and Conor never let him recover.

Cowboy in his post fight said he was getting hurt by elbows in the clinch. He was rocked enough that he didnt even know what he was getting hit with, and then conor landed even more power shots after that
 
Holy shit.... I think Conor is a douche, but if you think that was a dive you have no clue on how to analyze a fight. Just look at the match up. Conor is a fast starter and Cowboy is a slow starter.

I can't believe how close that poll is (59%-41% in favor of Cowboy not taking a dive when I posted this) right now. Come on Sherdog you're better than this.

Also... Did you see Cowboys face in the post fight interview? his nose was busted and his eyes were swollen.

If you are taking a dive, why would you eat a big telegraphed punch that conor launched himself into? That may have knocked him out. Better to go down to some weak shoulder strikes or toes to the chin

He also got smashed by his shoulder once and then just put his face back in the same place to get hit again lol.
 
Did he quit after getting fucked up?? Yes but he's done that like half a dozen other times as well so did he take a dive in those fights as well? I almost thought Mendes took a dive until Volkanovski finished him in a very similar manner.
 
He got his ass whooped. Plain and simple. Cowboy is a notoriously slow starter and this is not the first time he's been finished like this. Definitely not a dive.

Conor connects, cowboy goes out cold or pretends to, fight over.

Instead he gets his nose broken by a shoulder bone thrown into the face, his eyes swell up, he takes a head kick and then some punches before Herb steps in.
 
He got his nose broken from a shoulder strike, kicked on the chin, glancing flying knee, and ground and pound. It wasn't a dive but he was clearly happy to just get a paycheck. Set up as a jobber and unwillingly played the part.
