Big pun should have been. He started to sound pretty bad when he was morbibly obese and out of breath tho. Capital punishment was one of the top 3 debut hip hop albums of all time
He is good but IDK why he rubs me the wrong way lol.
It all comes about personal taste.
Andre3000 was amazing when he actually did rap and not shitty pop music.
Then a bunch of underground guys are really underrated. Not the best but worth mentioning.
Prime Celph Titled had the best punchlines and a smooth flow
I always liked Immortal Technique as a lyricist. He was even getting better in his last records but IDK what the hell is he doing now. His verse in this song with Chuck D and Brother Ali is probably my favorite.

Being a fan of Black Thought, I was blown away when I first heard this.
Who the fuck else would be able to spit one of Black Thoughts toughest rhymes, word for word, without skipping a lyric and doing it faster than Thought himself
Even Black Thought can't stop smiling through out, hype shit
Nas cared more about being a poet than a rapper. His lyrics were deep, but could never figure out how to make them would good..he has less than average flow..
Good concert. The GOAT gotta get up on that dental plan. His bottom teeth starting to look like an actual goats.
If Ali Shaheed never lets his grey show. You would think he hasn't aged a day since "People's".
