I didn't change a damn thing , I posted my experience as accurately as I could , if it had been a shitty experience that's what I would have described , the only possible thing someone could take issue with was that it took a couple of days longer than they said to get the test results back .

shit happens, nothing is perfect. I can post plenty of horror stories from the hospital, none are as horrific as my medical bills

Pandemic response involves a lot of agencies: CDC, NSC, DHS, HHS, etc. They've shown themselves to be slow, poorly organized and complacent. It's a lot less mentally demanding to blame one person for all the problems, but it's pretty clear the issues run deeper and pre-date anything stupid Trump has done. And I don't believe more personnel would have made a critical difference in the poor response.

Trump is a great populist rabble-rouser, but when it comes to leadership he is absolutely horrible. Even the “irrationally exuberant” stock market has no confidence in his Government, despite the seemingly endless helicopter money providing liquidity right now.

Artificial growth spurred by deficit-funded tax cuts and ridiculous Federal Reserve policy can only get you so far. He should be hoping to lose in 2020, because he is in way over his head. There come times in history when you need competent, stable,and capable leaders, and Trump isn’t that guy and he hasn’t built a solid administration around him.
This isn’t a casino where you can sink it and have taxpayers save you. The Fed and Treasury might be able to do it, but it is going to depend on many unknowns.

You didn't say how I changed my story but let's try this . .

My wife gets very ill , we call the doctor/nurses hotline and they tell us that if her temp hits 38 to take her to emergency and get her tested for covid .

Her fever quickly passed 38 and went up to 40.4 ( 104.5 f ) ,at about 515 into emerg we go , within ten minutes of getting through the door she's in a special isolation room , all doctors and nurses who see her are fully protected , head to toe .

They start running tests including for coronavirus , she is given 3 IVs , 2 for fluids and one for antibiotics.

The first nurse we talked to mistakenly told us the test would take 2 hours but soon we were told it would take a couple of days , my wife is released at about 1am and told to isolate herself .


It ends up taking basically 4 days to get the results .

So , tell me what was so awful about our experience , what in your opinion was unacceptable to the point you call it horse shit ?

My step brother works in an old folks home, several co-workers are on vacation , one is returning tomorrow after six weeks in Thailand , the guy is coming straight from the airport into work .

This can't be a good idea , should there be a mandatory two weeks of isolation from anyone returning from overseas ?

That sounds extreme but is there a better idea ?

I had a discussion about that with a manager today, since I've been known to travel to vietnam. We dont have an actual plan though

Lol. What you just described would be considered shit service in America. And while this shit was actually happening it was obvious by your real time posts you were frustrated. They first told you it would take 2 hours to diagnose. Then 2 days. You posted on Friday you still had no clue what was wrong even though 2 days was Tuesday.

SHIT SERVICE! But now that she is ok you are back to defending your system and bashing others.

My daughter had pneumonia twice and both times did not have the shit service you had

Bottom line, the service you recieved would 100 be considered bullshit in the states.

I even made a post after your situation when the diagnosis FINALLY came back for your wife where I said this shows no country is geared up for this and you fucking liked the post!

This shit is not gonna be easy for large countries where people value their freedoms and much of the populations believe they are invincible. Shit will go down and people will have to accept things will not be perfect.

Also, if Trump or Pence or the CDC or whoever you want to blame are so bad/evil then why are governors saying they are doing a ecent job. Why is it hack politicians and hack posters doing this nonstop bitching
