Elections Bernie drops out of Primary

Hillary also led Trump in Florida on election eve but it went Trump anyway. I'm not putting much stock in it atvghis point.

No she didnt, Trump ended up with a 1.4 polling advantage by election night

Moving from florida though -- Biden is leading in Michigan, Penn and Ohio...even in North Carolina

Joe wins purple states and swing voters by proposing to restore normalcy and by making the election a case against Trump. Trump is hated and Joe is liked. That’s it.

This pretty much just sounds like its based on feels and little else.

If swing voters cared about "normalcy" they wouldn't have elected trump in the first place.

Good riddance, you socialist piece of shit. And a nice, big, heartfelt fuck you to all his supporters. Enjoy 4 more years of President Donald J. Trump.

Two months ago: dems going to nominate a socialist! Trumps going to crush him! Stupid dems!
Now: dems going to nominate biden. Haha we always knew the dnc would not allow it. Trumps going to crusher him!

I don’t think that’s true at all. Joe is likable and will promise a return to normalcy.

He’s also done a few speeches regarding the virus and they’re a huge upgrade over Trump.

I can’t get past the “he brings nothing to the table” and “he doesn’t excite and motivate voters” crowd. What do you think the president actually does?

And there's this:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opin...iden-coronavirus-timeline-is-utterly-damning/

Trump, Jan. 22: The president tells CNBC that “we have it totally under control” and “it’s going to be just fine.”

Top Biden adviser, Jan. 22: Ron Klain, a Biden adviser who managed the 2014 Ebola response, co-writes a piece excoriating Trump for “brashly” dismissing coronavirus as “under control,” while calling for “expertise” to “guide critical decisions” and noting “reasons for great concern.”

Trump, Jan. 24: Trump praises and gives thanks to China for its efforts to contain the coronavirus, and adds: “It will all work out well.”

Biden, Jan. 27: Biden publishes an op-ed in USA Today hitting Trump for “shortsighted policies" that "have left us unprepared for a dangerous epidemic,” and warning that the coronavirus “will get worse before it gets better.”

Trump, Jan. 30: Trump says at a rally in Michigan: “We think we have it very well under control.”

Biden, Jan. 31: Biden tells reporters in Iowa that “science” must “lead the way,” adding: “We have, right now, a crisis with the coronavirus.”

Biden, Feb. 1: Biden tweets: “We are in the midst of a crisis with the coronavirus. We need to lead the way with science.”

Trump, Feb. 2: Trump goes on Sean Hannity’s show and claims: “We pretty much shut it down, coming in from China.” Trump extols our “tremendous relationship” with China, and adds: “We did shut it down, yes.”

Etc. The fucking country is falling apart because we have a moron in the WH. If Biden had been president, this shit wouldn't be nearly as bad.

Feel bad for Bernie. Say what you want about him but he seems to be the most genuine out of all the Dem candidates.

That was his downfall. You have to be a steaming pile of shit with no remorse for the poor(the 99%) to have a chance.

You can bet on Republicans at -125 on Bovada. Weird how it's so hard for people to understand that not everyone thinks like them.

We're seeing who can't distinguish reality from their wishes.

Sucks that we lost a chance to have a president that cares more about the people than the corporations/their own wallet but Biden is still miles better than Trump. Trump barely beat Hillary and lost the popular vote and she was extremely unpopular with a lot of people. Now with the country getting hammered by the virus and the economic fall out to come, people saying that is already over and Trump has won need to take a step back.

I'll admit he did a lot better than I thought he would. He almost pulled it off. I thought he was gonna sink hard after the heart attack. I'll also say that Biden's victory is a bit surprising, given that he essentially sleepwalked through the whole thing. If I had known Biden was gonna be so...confused old man like, I would not have been so confident in him being a lock when it started.

Biden winning is purely a function of pre super Tuesday hijinx. Without those candidates dropping out at the last second, Bernie would have won. A cynical strategy like that shows just how anti-democratic the Democratic party is. If Warren were a true progressive instead of a shameless self promoter, she would have dropped out immediately in solidarity and endorsed Bern.

Now the question is, is this all surprising? No. Is it fair? I think people think this all falls under fair gamesmanship and leave it at that. But to beat a ploy like this, you'd need a ridiculously strong candidate to overcome the odds.

Another reason to support policies that allow new political parties to gain a foothold in American elections.

Guess I'll be voting for Biden in the general. Because of the two pussy grabbers on the ballot Joe strikes me as the slightly less predatory.

Trump knows he is in trouble. Be prepared for some election fuckery to say the least.

You guys could have had Bernie and you blew it. I think history will view this as a big mistake, but who knows. So close though.. He will keep fighting in the Senate, and he will keep fighting for the disinfranchised, the workers and the country untill his dying breath.

Anyway, enjoy Trump vs Biden.

I thought Bernie was going to win because it seems like him and Warren were going to team up for POTUS and VP. I was really surprised when she dropped out and endorsed creepy uncle Joe instead. What a twist.

Warren didn't endorse Biden. When confronted with endorsing either Bernie or Joe Liz took a page out the Tulsi hero playbook and decided to vote "present".

It's already started with the attack on mail in voting and what just went down in Wisconsin. That should be all anyone needs to see that they don't give a shit about people, only winning.
