Sure by your standards. You're not Russian, you don't support Putin and you're not going to write Russian history books. If you think there's not an opportunity for Russia to create their own lane, especially considering the massive gold stockpiling they've been involved in for the past half-decade, then you're ignoring a real possibility because you don't like Russia.

I don't dislike Russia. But why would you base your takes on Russian history books? I'm just pointing out this war isnt a win for Russia, regardless of what Putin's propaganda says. This was a massive fail on his part.

Zelensky isn't going to do shit to Russia though. He literally will want no part in another conflict. When this ends, if he ever went on the counter offensive, Putin would level Kiev like some thought he would this time.

First of all, nuclear powers are immune from invasion. Second, Ukraine has zero interest in war with Russia. They just want to be protected from invasion.

We've been supplying Ukraine with weaponry and resources for a long time now, to a hilarious extent. They bore the brunt of Putin lashing out and Zelensky's calls for us to intervene in a serious matter have been ignored (for the right reasons). We got involved dipping our dick in a non-NATO country to be cute and coy with Vlad and he invaded, we did nothing. Thems the brakes. You obviously don't think that's a bad thing, but that would put you in the camp of where I was and am right now; this was a big dick-swing by all parties involved.

You're downplaying the full scale invasion of a sovereign country as "big dick swinging". This is war dude. The worst is yet to come.

What exactly do you think NATO should be doing now that it isn't already? Since you are claiming this was the first major test and we (NATO) bitched out hard.

Google etc had relocated their A+ level specialists from Russia.

I know that Russia had good specialists, I had learned for free from Fullbright stipend laureate: russian professor and I'm happy cos I had this opportunity.
He taught subject not closely related to math, and still, he taught me how to implement system with algorithms to solve things.
I had struggled a lot before his lessons.

Russians might be bright and nice ppl, just they are oppressed and brainwashed by Kremlin.
