Yeah he lost to those guys (expect maldanado) but fact is he wasn’t afforded the pharmaceutical advantage Jones was, no one ever has been!
 
If Bones can get a few HW wins against varied opponents, eg a good wrestler, an all-rounder, a big power hitter, etc, he will pretty much be the GOAT imo

Not his fault. He beat top wrestlers, top strikers you name it and won with grappling. Until he got older, changed camps and became a punchers fighter which he then began to lose in those fights. He beat Nougeria twice and Filipovic who was the best heavyweght striker of all time. On top of this he beat Arlovski and Sylvia with relative esse.

Yes, everyone could be roided out of their minds in Pride. As for his other orgs, who knows. Overeem, Bigfoot, Barnett and Werdum never got caught in Coker's Stikeforce but were all busted for PEDs in the UFC. So maybe everyone was roiding...We'll never know. Obviously Fedor was a prized fighter in places like Affliction and Strikeforce, so possibly he had privileges? We'll never know. The bottom line is Fedor never fought under anything close to USADA so the PED stuff is pretty much immaterial to this discussion.

Only because the rules of these forums prevent me from correctly responding but Ill just leave that ive been a professional strength coach going on 27 years and ive seen every manner of cheat and boost at every type of competition. Lets just say Nate Diaz is 99% correct. Keep clasping your official USDA offenders manual if it makes you feel better but I think most know whats what here.

The rule may have changed because of Jones.....but everyone can pulse now lol. So saying he is only allowed to is factually wrong.

Crocop blew his knee out in between the OWGP and his UFC debut, you might have notice he lost a lot of speed and explosiveness and tried to make up for it by packing on another 10lbs of muscle and trying to adapt his game.

Cool story bro so now after getting owned about Jones enjoying a level of advantage no one in the sports history has ever enjoyed, you are shifting the scope of your thread to early prime years Jones only? Might as well change thread title and OP too to stand a chance
 
Jones longevity in the sport is legendary. He only had 6 fights in 4 months before joining the UFC. The first 4 fights were 1 week apart.

Fedor's record has a lot of filler fights. He is not to be blamed for that but it is important to distinguish JMMA from the modern UFC.
