International Hamas launches surprise attack on Israel; Israel has declared a state of war. Vol. III

I miss the good ol' days when we were arming the "moderate headcutters" because those crazy islamic terrorists were against the Assad regime which is allied with Russia, and Obama was being pressured to be ISIS' airforce after Assad's over-the-red-line "chemical weapons attack" the day before we were supposed to leave the country. Those moderate headcutters were surely much more respectable folks than Hamas.

It's amazing how oblivious of the international relations aspects of things that completely mold the narratives that the public happily laps up.

Right?

Remember when they tried to say that they needed to do a no-fly zone so they could "fight ISIS."

Apparently they thought Americans would be dumb enough to believe ISIS had an air force

Relatively quiet? I mean, rockets shot nearly every single day is relatively quiet?
Periods of relative quiet yes , it's factual, there have been years when few rockets have been sent

You're welcome for the free education, no need to thank me

Christ, there are more children killed in Chicago every year, yet no one seems to care. And if you bring it up, then you are considered a racist.

This has not been true since the beginning of this conflict. We're at over 3000 dead kids, Chicago is probably in the hundreds.

Yes because people labeling inner city gang violence as "black on black crime" aren't racist. It's also usually a talking point used to minimize anger over blacks being killed by the police but totally not racist.

I don't think that exactly no one cares. Some parent or sibling might one day go out of his mind and try to take 'revenge' and authorities will of course discuss how unprepared they were for that terrorist attack. If you don’t like what you are reaping, you better change what you have been sowing.

You completely dismiss what goldstone himself said which is why you omit it from your narrative.

The report didn’t prove anything. You know this as well. So you misrepresent it as proof anyway.

Here it is. You can stop pretending it says something different now.

On 1 April 2011, Goldstone retracted his claim that it was Israeli government policy to deliberately target citizens, saying "While the investigations published by the Israeli military and recognized in the U.N. committee's report have established the validity of some incidents that we investigated in cases involving individual soldiers, they also indicate that civilians were not intentionally targeted as a matter of policy."[17] On 14 April 2011 the three other co-authors of the Report, Hina Jilani, Christine :eek::eek::eek::eek:in and Desmond Travers, released a joint statement criticizing Goldstone's recantation of this aspect of the report. They all agreed that the report was valid and that Israel and Hamas had failed to investigate alleged war crimes satisfactorily.

Religion of peace. Coming to a town near you

That's your opinion and you're entitled to it.

I think you know. Honestly Gaza should never accept peace. Look at West Bank. No Hamas and it’s a total shit show. Slowly losing land, non violence and just getting raped by Israel on the daily

No, no, Palestine definitely should accept peace, it's just not being offered by extremist nationalists like Netanyahu.

Why doesn't Hamas invest in infrastructure to build it up?

I'm not saying that Israel is 100% innocent here, but Palestine has been offered everything but the cookie jar (previously) to make peace, but they've said "No." at every turn. Sometimes you've just got to think of your people and make peace.

This is the result of a LONG process of oppression that Israel has thrust upon the Gaza strip. I just think that there's a better way to stop that oppression than killing music festival goers.

It's weird sometimes how you guys seem to ignore that Hamas is the government in Gaza. You seem to indicating that if there was a more moderate government in place in Israel, they'd potentially offer peace and maybe it would be accepted. You're speaking of extremists running Israel and that's fine...but it's not like you don't have extremists running things on the other side. Extremists that make no secret that they don't even want peace. And who won't give up their power. Even if Israel booted Netanyahu...so what? Hamas runs Gaza and they don't want to deal with ANY Israeli government.

Probably why peace is a fantasy.

If Israel booted Netanyahu, Netanyahu would no longer prop up Hamas.

“The Palestinian Authority is a liability, Hamas is an asset”.

Smotrich is a fascist, a religious fanatic and a rabid anti-LGBT campaigner. He deserves the graphic treatment in the poster. However, numerous mainstream Israeli officials and public figures have stated that having Hamas in power in Gaza is good for Israel, because it makes it easier for it not to negotiate on the future of the area.

That is an article from 2015.

Israel has not forgotten.

So let me spell it out here: the extremists in Israel, that you accept exist, wanted extremists in Palestine.

That's the end of the CTard narrative, I won't start dot-joining about this particular year or this particular attack, but the extremists wanted extremist neighbours in order to avoid negotiations on a Palestinian state.

And then they paid the price for it, and the price was innocent Israeli blood and innocent Palestinian blood.

All because of extremist Israeli's like Netanyahu.

“Netanyahu wants Hamas on its feet and is ready to pay an almost unimaginable price for it: half the country paralyzed, children and parents traumatized, houses bombed, people killed,” Israel’s current information minister, Galit Distel Atbaryan, wrote in May 2019, when she was yet to enter politics but was known as a prominent Netanyahu supporter. “And Netanyahu, in a kind of outrageous, almost unimaginable restraint, does not do the easiest thing: getting the IDF to overthrow the organization.

“The question is, why?” Distel Atbaryan continued, before explaining: “If Hamas collapses, Abu Mazen [Mahmoud Abbas] may control the strip. If he controls it, there will be voices from the left that will encourage negotiations and a political solution and a Palestinian state, also in Judea and Samaria [the West Bank] … This is the real reason why Netanyahu does not eliminate the Hamas leader, everything else is bullshit.”

This is a great article with more and better quotes than a CTard can cobble together.

Read it, guys.

Weird that Israel seems to be upset about this.
They're doing the exact same thing to Palestinians.
Well, the Israelis always use the holocaust as an excuse to get out of everything or to commit their own atrocities. The "never again" response.
The world just tends to bow and let it go.

"You cannot continue to victimize someone else (Palestinians) just because you yourself were a victim once (Jewish Holocaust) — there has to be a limit." - Edward Said

Also, what is up with this long-standing Israeli policy of neither confirming nor denying the existence of nuclear weapons in their country?
Do they think the western world is that stupid? We all know Israel is in the possession of at least 90+ nuclear weapons. Knowledge they stole from the Americans.
