Media Jon Jones responds to Aspinall

Jon Jones is absolutely right, it's hilarious how people were on Gane's nuts a couple of months ago and after Jones dispatched him without any problem people accuse Gane of being a can.

Miocic is an all time great HW and beating his ass would be more important than beating a guy like Aspinal that hasn't achieved anything close to Miocic.

Jones can be a douche, but it baffles me how many of these guys went from "Gane is future of HW and could be GOAT because footwork, Gane via anything he wants," to "Jones is paper champ for beating Gane." Absolute waffle.

Some of the reasons they don't like him are valid, but their hate goes far beyond all rational thought.

Aspinall should fight soon if he want to come out on top. That's the way to counter this. Defend your belt and then the other one loses legitimacy. And if he comes back to fight a dinosaur when you have defended your belt and calling him out, then it's going to look awful for him.

But if Aspinall just hides in twitter and asks for him to be stripped, then Jones can ignore him and come back to fight Stipe. Who did Aspinall beat to be a champ to behave like this? The guy that lost to Pavlovich doesn't look that good on your resume as a guy that fought for the belt twice before, was an interim champ and had given Ngannou one of the toughest fights yet.

Yup. He should fight Cain next too. And Mark Coleman. Just the greats.
 
Jones just confirming what we already knew: Aspinall is the real champ, Jones is just the paper champ

Buddy there is no fucking universe where 41 year old Stipe is a harder fight than Aspinall.

In fact his last win over Pav is a far better win that weathered Stipe.
 
So does Aspinall call out Gane? And attempt to dispatch gane simply to say he beat the same HW Jon did, plus beat Pav too.

Of course if it takes more than 1 round there's always gonna be the time comparison. Jones did it faster, etc.

Sucks that Gane would get yet ANOTHER title shot lol.

Gane has openly been ducking Blaydes for years, so maybe they should run back Blaydes vs Aspinall despite Blaydes coming off a loss. Stipe and Jones only want to fight each other it seems.

Gane can fight Sergei or Jailton next

I think if Aspinall reigns over the division, it would hurt Jones legacy long term. Each time Aspinall win, people will bring up that Jones avoided him. Jones is going for the easy Stipe win short term but I think long term, it will come back to haunt him,
