Well if they claim that the money went to the US Treasury, and it didn't, then it should be really easy to prove. There would no need to see any taxes.

According to the last report I heard a little while ago, some of the money went to the Treasury. It didn't say all. Anyway, it's practically a certainty there were a bunch of other foreign "donations" to Trump that have yet to come to light thanks to apparent interference from the Republicans.
