Bought my Twin Daughters their first car last night

I'm next to a high school

that was very nice of you to do. so long as they took driving classes, and passed the dmv tests, they should be fine. i was driving just after fifteen when i got my early permit from my high school. it helped that my dad was a mechanic, and was illegally teaching me how to drive stick-shift in isolated areas where no one was around lol.

Two girls, one car?

They'll be fighting over it.
This lol. I have twin sisters like 4 years younger than me. Seeing them fight over the whip will forever be hilarious.

When I was a teen, I knew these twin girls and we were at a camp with limited access to showers and they said to save time they would just shower together.

I had a boner all day after hearing that.

Keep in mind this was before internet porn so dudes my age were pretty desperate.
One of the biggest nerds in my highschool was in band with a set of twins and he took their virginity back to back at a party.

Dude was legendary afterwards.

Good going ! As mentioned, a dash cam is mega protection for your girls... and No One but them should drive it - for your personal financial liability.

Pretty sure they just learning to drive,

What’s that, like 16-17 years old?

maybe they are special and in their late twenties.
you dont know!

Two years away from gifting my daughter our paid off altima, then the twins are next. I feel you bro, these kids cost so much emotionally and financially, but damn do I love them more than words can say.

It was a Laramie, fully loaded… That Hemi was no joke

I’m in construction
I worked construction for some years too. It was actually quite fun to destroy stuff all the time. No RAM tho, was just a peasant during university and had to gain respect first because of that.

OP needs to install cameras and a tracking device. I heard from my homie @Fengxian that twins are special especially if they have green eyes.

Install a dash cam in the vehicle, bro
I think this is a pretty good idea, maybe for like the first 6mos to 1 year. It will enforce good driving habits, even when you remove it those habits will still be there to a certain degree.

Interesting.

My plan is to do the exact opposite. I'm keeping my truck (2012 GMC Sierra 1500) and when my first born daughter starts driving in 2027, she is gonna drive that truck.

I'm thinking based on the laws of physics.
Young drivers are terrible drivers. You learn to drive from experience actually driving, the license is a piece of paper.

So I want my babies (Currently 13 & 11) in the biggest and hopefully slowest vehicles possible.

I'm also thinking the truck will be less likely to encourage speeding, even though it has a powerful V8 and can absolutely haul ass.

Not sure you appreciate the insurance of two teens on a truck like that

They’re twins, they had to share everything

Even when the truck is 15 years old?

its a 2012 and my oldest isn't due to drive until 2027.

Yeah, I hope they don't bend me over for that.
