Media Volkanovski says he was drinking every day for 3-4 weeks leading up to the Islam rematch

Islam said it was about the money. Of course it was. Drinking and a KO head kick. He was talking about the depression he was experiencing before the Scalp Kick (like a sniper, just over Volk's guard). Fighting Topuria less than 4 months later isn't "staying busy", it's just plain idiocy. Topuria is getting a compromised Volk. (Usman probably came back too soon after that heavy head kick.) Now, we find out Volk went a binge before getting kicked in the head? He's obviously past his prime at 35. Win or lose, Topuria will probably hit him in the head pretty hard at least a couple times. Alex, don't become the Australian Zombie! Curse of The Korean Zombie sideshow you took part in! They used that poor guy.

I find it really hard to look at the circumstances around the second Islam fight and truly believe that it affects his legacy more than a bit. He was a few weeks off an elbow surgery, he was clearly chubbier, he weighed less than their first fight, he had a 10 day camp, no gameplan, no real way to win other than “let’s see what happens“ it was a stupid decision but also the worst version of volk we’ve probably ever seen except for melatonin gate volk in the second max fight which he still managed to win
Would a full training camp have prepared Volk for that 1st Round, perfectly-placed and perfectly timed scalp-shot? He started out okay, forcing Islam to the cage and threw some rabbit punches. Then, Makhachev goes beast mode with a fierce Thaiu-clinch Islam has a good Crane Kick and he uses it quite a bit. He got a piece of Volk at least twice in the first fight. As short as the second fight was, he got a piece of Volk with that kick before the KO. Islam has never KO'D anyone with a kick. Wrestling? What wrestling? No one expected a knockout by head kick. Islam has continued to evolve into a good striker. Saw that against Volk in the first fight. Volk is 35 or 36. Sticking around until you're the first fight of the Main Card is not a grear legacy. I'm not saying he'll become Ferguson. That's tragic. Anyway, Everyone loses at some point, unless you're a Nurmagomedov! Topuria can KO Volk, flat on his back, staring into space. Alex is probably make a big mistake taking this fight less than four months after that devastating heads shot. Ilia Topuria can grapple and wrestle and has some Jiu-jitsu. His hand speed and power is brutal.

With his mental health in the public domain. This story doesn’t surprise me one iota.

Doesn’t volk gave a family? Why dude such a mess lately

Get it together bj penn ass chuck lidell ass

how do you nut huggers feel about your boi coming in hot with the excuses?

But why? You’re a pro athlete and have a family. You could go down as one of the greats. Don’t fuck up your timeline, little Aussie brother!
Dude has always been a fraud. To put him p4p of anything is a joke. Tell me he his resume can hold up against any of the last 5 #1 p4p fighters.

What an asshole.

Excuses are more embarrassing than the loss.

Islam had the perfect game plan, to get Alex to drop his hands (with low kicks), and then KO his ass with a high kick.

Maybe he and Kamaru Usman can hug each other, and deep cry/scream into each other's pillows.

Their dick riders believe they need PEDs a year after heart surgeries that leave no scars, right after being KO'd, and then never need them again for the next 8 years after they're banned.

There's morons everywhere.
Conor fans like yourself thinks he broke his leg Andy style against DP all he did was roll an ankle boohoo so Conor fans think it’s OK that he juices to the neck and eyeballs that make Ronnie Coleman look all natty.

Fuck off with pathetic excuses. Nothing worse than someone getting soundly beat and starts bringing out this bs excuses. This is as bad as mc gregor excuses.

Everybody needs an excuse. What else is he gonna tell himself, Islam was just the bigger badder man.
