2024 Predictions (Mayberry edition)

Since alphaboy isn't around to create this year's prediction thread, I figure I'd make one. These have always been fun.

Let's try to stay away from too many political predictions as there's already a prediction thread in the war room.

The crazier and more specific the prediction, the funnier it is when it comes true.

In last year's thread I predicted that Kanye West would backpedal on his anti-Semitic comments, but not in a normal way. In some strange way that makes people think he's even more crazy. Then several months later Kanye publicly announced that he watched the movie 21 jump Street and it made him like Jewish people again.

- Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will break up, and Taylor is going to have another number 1 song called "Fumbled My Heart"

- Sherdog will go through another "routine maintenance", and we'll be back to not knowing how to throw uppercuts for a month. Rest assured, the likes will be preserved

- Elon Musk will father 3 more children, bringing his total offsprings to NFL player level

- Pornhub launches a premium service dedicated for use on the Apple Vision Pro

- Ryanair and/or Spirit will start charging to use the bathroom in flight

- Due to steeply declining box office, Marvel announces they are bringing back Iron Man, and paying Robert Downey Jr $100M for the role. RDJ accepts the offer on the condition that he plays Iron Man as Kirk Lazarus playing as Lincoln Osiris

1. Celebs are going to make a big deal about AI porn that uses their likeness without their permission. Remember when Alyssa Milano took on the Internet trying to get her nudes taken down? It will be on that scale.

2. Francis Ngannou will be soundly defeated by a pro boxer, leading everyone to conclude that his first fight was more of a fluke or Tyson Fury fighting poorly that night rather than Ngannou being good.

3. The NFL will have a good player come out of the closet. Not like that Sam guy that barely made the team, but a decent player that actually contributes.

4. LeBron will suffer an injury and decide to retire, sadly not getting to enjoy a farewell tour like Kobe did.
