It was talked about semi-serious for a short time,but in the end,both men realized it just wasnt necessary to create such possible hard feelings despite the money involved.
 
It would suck and be crap. They would not land with full force and will probably have the outcome drawn up prior.

You think the Diaz brothers never beat each other up as kids? The Emelianenko brothers? Hell, the Noguera brothers were twins, there wasn't any "big brother advantage" there, you don't think they fought?

I love my brothers but if a MMA organization approached us and said, "You guys want to jump in the cage and fight?" I think we'd look at each other and say, "Well...we used to beat the hell out of each other, why not do it now for money?" Especially since the money would be really good, how many PPV buys do you think Diaz vs. Diaz would get based on the "brother vs. brother" aspect alone?

fight between kid brothers or teenager brothers and fighting between two adult trained fighters is same? you could just have said you have never been in fight as adult
 
That’s because you can’t fight, so you don’t realize how life changing a beatdown or devastating KO can be. Trust me if you knew how to do serious damage you wouldn’t fight your brother

Beating each other up and trying put each other out cold are different things tho. I guess it also depends on how you approach fights in general. For example the Overeem brothers never really approached their fights with much emotion, and stated that they would consider fighting each other if need be (if I remember correctly). With the Diaz brother it's just a straight up war inside and outside the cage as soon as the fight is signed on the dotted line, it's just not simply an mma fight for these guys.
 
It’s not really an unwritten rule, brothers just generally don’t want to fight each other no matter the circumstance. Hard to beat up or seriously injure somebody you love and care for. Not to mention putting a halt to their aspirations. Not sure why this would be difficult to understand.

I want openweight, soccer kicks, one night tournaments, knees to grounded opponents, headbutts...but no interest in watching brothers fight.
 
Why would you want to watch 2 adult brothers fight each other in the cage? That’s some sick shit TS. Coming from a huge fan of 209, I do not want to watch Nick vs Nate. That fight sounds horrible to me.
