He didn't contemplate any kind of submission except chokes. Definitely looks 1 dimensional even on the ground.

There's nothing wrong with that. Submissions other than chokes risk losing position, chokes don't. He was in dominant position the entire fight, no reason to do his opponents work for him. If he had a solid side control spot and going for kimura/keylock/etc., sure, but that wasn't what his opponent was giving him.

Snoozer of a fight, but the grappling disparity was so great it was silly.

But yeah, a flying omaplata woulda been sick.

A lot of fans were uncertain why he was so high on the card. He helped give them a voice with his performance.

He got the finish. It was not the prettiest fight but a humbling one. He only has 6 fights under his resume and all are finishes. Not to terrible.

It is different to see them manage his career. Compared to how they Managed Khamzat . Khamzat rushed in their like a bull outta hell and just leapfrogged the rankings with a few good performances. With Bo they are taking it slow against lower competition. He has not had that dominating performance yet. He needs one to really build the hype train. They are trying to give it to him but he is not coming through like Khamzat did. He has 6 fights and Khamzat has 7 in the UFC. Pretty crazy difference in careers thus far though.

Hopefully his next fight is better. He can talk the talk. He just need to learn how to walk the walk and be entertaining.
