Jester's Training for the Supertotal Log

The treadmills at my gym have TV's built in, doesn't help me.

As far as nutrition goes, I told myself awhile ago I would never count calories and beat myself up over food intake. I like to eat and I'm happy when I do. I'm just an all around nicer person when I eat whatever I want lol. I may count out like mayo or shit like that when I eat but thats about it.

I don't know who said this but it was something along the lines of you can out train your diet. At least until your older. I think it's true. Probably goes against what most believe, but if you train like a mother fucker a cheese burger or 2 won't kill you.

Chad Johnson said he lives off McDonalds and he plays in the NFL for christ sakes.

If losing weight will make you happier though, do it. And own it, don't half ass it and beat yourself up for years.

Thanks man, yeah that's my goal, I'm not going to be obsessive over my calorie intake. Just going to try and cut out the "bad" meals like taco bell or large desserts and try to increase my cardio/conditioning by a few hours a week

I've eaten too many cheeseburgers the last couple of days. Weighed 223 this morning. That's down from 231 in March though.

Wow that's funny, because one of my Achilles heel is the exact same thing, even the flavor and everything. Either that one or strawberry cheesequake, or mint Oreo

But the Reese's is my favorite

For food it's usually Taco Bell's nacho cheese gorditas or some kind of bacon/blue cheese type burger from anywhere

hardees carried one too, not sure if they still have it though, not bad

Hells yeah. Applebee's has a couple of other good burgers too. The quesidilla burger and the cowboy burger are good.

And don't even get me started on Hardee's.

haha, alright, no more food talk in this log, i have a hardees and a DQ within 3 minutes of here. I need to be thinking about chicken breasts and oatmeal and eggs

The quesadilla burger from Applebees is AMAZING!!!! I remember the first time I ate it, Yahoo ran a story about the 10 worst burgers (health wise) in America a couple days later. The quesadilla burger was like 4th or something. Whatever Yahoo, that burger is delicious.

Allow yourself some cheat days, but fill your fridge with good food and prepare it in such a way that you actually enjoy it. Hot sauce goes a long way for me.

yeah i think thats a little of my problem too, i need to be more proactive about stocking my fridge with prepared/easy to eat meals that i like that are healthy

and its a good thing about hot sauce, because i eat that stuff on everything anyways. Have about 10 bottles in my fridge right now

Bro if you need any help on the ol' weightloss thing let me know. I've been 210lbs of fat nasty, down to 148lbs on a crash diet, back up to 210lbs of curl monkey w/ 18" arms and zero actual strength. I've run the gamut sir. Recently when I realized I couldn't be a solid 181 and that I could easily be a 165 I pulled about 10# in a month without any strength loss. I'm settled at about 179 and after months on the couch my strength is coming back(fuckin knee).

I'm no guru or specialist. FARRRR from it. But I'm always happy to help man. Got your back. :)
 
For sure. My trick is to always eat in and only eat out when I'm planning on a cheat meal. I simply can't go to a restaurant and control myself, so I keep myself in and eat only what's in my fridge.

Appreciate it alot, i mean im pretty clueless about it. For now the plan is to eat as clean as i know with alot of protein intake, and up the cardio/conditioning. All while trying to keep my "cheat" meal type food intake to once a week. Going to see how that works

Im the same way, i can go somewhere with good intentions and then as soon as i see the menu im toast. They have creme brulee cheesecake whaaaaa!?!?!

The other factor is i have 2 good friends moving here at the end of the month and i know eating out/drinking beer will always be a factor. Which is all the more reason to get my homelife eating cleaned up so i can afford a treat every now and then
 
Keto worked well for me. It was fast I added muscle and strength while loosing fat. It was hard as fuck but it works.
