Favorite song is nearly impossible to answer.

Indeed did you check out their last slbum?it's pretty good

My favorite Megadeth song is probably Hangar 18, although I love a ton of their songs, so it's a tough choice.

My favorite Megadeth album is Rust in Peace

Tornado of Souls/Rust in Piece

Rust In Peace

Favourite Song is Holy Wars.

Rust in Peace for me, I remember hearing it for the first time on tape, didn't come out of the tape player for months after that.

Some of my fave Megadeth Riffs and solos on that album.

I love their older stuff, it's classic, and I know I'll be called out as sacrilegious, but I also enjoyed some later stuff off of Youthanasia and The System has Failed. The guitar work wasn't as great, obviously, but I felt the songwriting was good enough.

Maybe,
Kill the King, love those muted-chord chuggs
In My Darkest Hour

And even though it has amazingly stood lyrics, Five Magics is awesome.

Probably Rust in Peace the most consistently excellent

Good choices guys like the diversity of the slbum choices.

My favourite band next to Cradle of Filth & Iron Maiden
To pick a favourite is difficult but here are some great ones =>
Live version of Lucretia WATCH THIS!!!

Trust is definitaly one of the best songs of them, usually the song I show people to introduce them.
Wake up Death is the other one.

Holy wars... (I used the lyrics for a schoolproject)

Dude Youthanasia was an awesome record, RIP, Countdown & Youthanasia was Megadeth at it's peak.
Fun good songs that all could be hits.
The guitar work was great imo, don't know what your talking about.

The System was a bit of collection of leftover ideas & unused riffs that Dave used to make an album after he recovered. I was excited Dave started playing again but the album it's self I played it seldomly.

Megadeth has to good periods imo:
Gar Samuelson/Chris Poland & 2 daves : best album of that was Peace Sell ofc
Marty Friedman/Nick Menza & 2 daves: impossible to say what album but lets say RIP
After that they got a bit less interesting imo

Tornado of Souls/Rust in Piece

Came here to say this, what a ripping guitar solo that is too. I still remember the first time I heard that song, someone had told me TOS was the best on that album, when it started I immediately thought it had to be that "good song".

Song is too tough to answer, album probably Killing is My Business.

For sure the best album is Countdown to Extinction, and the best song is Symphony of Destruction.

Album is probably Youthanasia. Song, dunno. She-Wolf springs to mind.

Haven't listened to new Megadeth for a decade though, and I don't plan on doing so, I've moved on.

I had a Megadeth thread a ways back.
Favorite album, probably my first, bought the day it hit the Sears store: Peace Sells.
I'd read in Kerrang how Dave was gonna put together a great band, a better band than Metallica.

He did! The players in 'Deth are much more musically accomplished. And I don't wanna bag on Hammett, who seems like the nicest guy, but...
Not the best guitarist.

So, here's a little list of my favorites.

Lucretia
1,320
Dystopia
Fatal Illusion
Head Crusher
Hook in Mouth
How the Story Ends
KICK THE CHAIR, all time favorite
Killing is my Business
Me Hate You (great break up song)
The Skull Beneath the Skin
This Day We Fight!
The Threat is Real
Washington is Next
Back in the Day

This list rules your speakers.
Listen to them all, you fucks
