I know the media prefers to give it to the QB, but Tom through an interception that nearly cost them the superbowl.

James White brought them back. He was EXCEPTIONAL throughout the game.

So, the guy who almost cost the team the game deserves it more than the guy who brought the team back?

All Brady had to do was not turnover the ball. James White had to do more than that, he had to make big plays, get yards and get that ball over the score line.

If I am wrong, why did Terry Bradshaw interview him during the trophy celebration?

Too many gaylord cucks vote so Brady won while anyone who with a clue knows it should have been James White.

Only Patriot who showed up in the first 3 quarters, 3 TDs, game-winning TD, had a SB record, bailed Brady's ass out, and didn't throw a godawful pick-6 that should have cost his team the game. Though, they should have changed the award to Biggest Chokejob and gave it to the Failcans.

No he doesn't
He brought the team back, and he (and Mitchell) is the reason that Brady even went over 400 yards.

So, you can play TERRIBLE for an entire half and win MVP just because you are the QB (the most overrated position in ALL sports).

But an unknown RB who sets record numbers and who kept the team in the game, doesn't. Wow

American propaganda is SUPER effective.

He had a great game but Brady was phenomenal, without him White would not had anything close to the game he did

you're going full retard at the moment

Funny thing is if the Failcans would have stopped one 2-point conversion and won, then people would have shit on Brady. Prima donna QBs get the glory when their team wins and get the blame when they lose.

Tom accounted for 466 yards of offense ffs

Take away the 28 yard play and White caught 13 passes for 82 yards. Thats like 5 yards a pop lol...

fuck outta here

White had some gimme TDs. He played great, but it was those long 2nd and 13 passes to Amendola, Edelman, and Hogan that really pushed the ball down field and led to the points.

Speak the truth.

It seems like the QB is the default "best player" on any given NFL team, and the MVP title is the QB's to lose.

When your QB throws for 466 yards, someone catching passes is gonna have a big game. You can make a case for White being big in the big moments, but when you're QB, every snap is a big moment.

This is true... it's amazing how much more valuable some defensive players are than the QB. Von Miller won the Super Bowl for the Broncos and Ray Lewis led the Ravens back in the day.

Even when the Colts beat the Bears, Bob Sanders deserved that MVP honor just as much if not more than Manning.

In other words, a QB can play like sh@t all game, but if he throws a couple of long passes, then he deserves the MVP.

It seems like all a QB has to do is be average, but all other players have to be EXCEPTIONAL to win.

They should have 3 titles, (1) most valuable QB (2) most valuable offensive player (3) most valuable defensive player.

I watched the game, and Brady did not win this game for the Patriots on the field. The team fought hard, and he was the liability.

lol well no shit when it's the single most important position in all of team sports, yeah the QB is gonna get the credit for winning and blame for losing

Brady's numbers were crap. James White and Mitchell BOOSTED his numbers and kept the Patriots in the game.

So? He also accounted for 82 yards for the Failcans. They both accounted for 3 TDs, but 1 of Brady's was for Atlanta. He threw the ball 600 times, he should have a ton of yards. They were down big so they had to throw a ton. His QB rating was rather pedestrian for the SB.
