This is just building on a post I made earlier. Contrary to what is often claimed, it is not actually that hard to keep up to date with muay thai. If you want to know the line ups for upcoming cards or view recent fights the resources are readily available. Follow this guide and you will be able to effectively follow all the muay thai which is worth following.

How to keep up to date with whats happening or revisit past results:

First, when keeping up to date with which cards are coming up this week or what the results of recent fight cards were the two main resources you would want to use are the program guide from the muaythai2000 website.

http://www.muaythai2000.com/en/calendar.php

This pretty self explanatory: it has the card lineups for Lumpinee and Rajadamnern stadium cards projected about as far as a week in advance from the present day. And it has the results for pretty much all Lumpinee and Rajadamnern stadium cards going back to 2003. As well as giving you some additional information on the promotion and promoter of the particular card.

The other resource which I would recommend, if you to keep up to date with what is happening in the week in larger stadiums outside of Lumpinee and Rajadamnern- specifically Rangsit, Channel 7, Omnoi, and Jitmuangnon- is the muaythai2000 broadcast program.

http://www.muaythai2000.com/en/promatch_tv.php

Although it is intended to be a rundown of all the stadium content which will be aired on television that week (including Lumpinee and Rajadamner but not including MAX Muay Thai or Supermuay Thai), and their subsequent results, it is the also the best guide to keeping up to date with projected line ups and results for Omnoi stadium, Rangsit stadium, Channel 7 stadium and Jitmuangnon stadium card. Unfortunately, there is no archive for these results so if you are interested in what is or has just happened in one of those stadiums, then you will need to view the results before they are taken down for the week.

The last resource that I would recommend for keeping up to date with the card lineups of Lumpinee, Rajadamner, Channel 7 and occasionally other stadium cards is the Siamfightnew facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/SiamFightNews/

There will usually be a post which gives the line up for whichever the most notable card happening on that particular day is. It is also one of the better resource that I know of for getting projected line ups for super cards well in advance. However, it is not as good a resource for finding out the results of fight cards as muaythai2000, which will give you an entire breakdown of each and every card, but is still good if you are only interested the result of the biggest fights which take place in muay thai.

Thanks to Yodsanan for reminding me of the following link:

If you are also looking for recent results of Lumpinee, Raja and other major stadium cards you can visit the Muay Thai World Instagram page. It isn't as easy to use as the muaythai2000 page and doesn't have projected line ups for future cards. You have to click the pictures and then look at the sidebar to see whether there is a breakdown of a card. They may appeal to some because they also devote a bit of space to MAX muay thai results, which neither Siamfightnews or Muaythai2000 does.

How to Watch the Fights:

When it comes to actually watching muay thai I will just rehash what I already said earlier, although I will make one addition. You can go to the Siamfightnews facebook page which will usually have footage of the biggest fights which have taken place, as well as small 30 second highlights of recent knockouts and fights.

https://www.facebook.com/pg/SiamFightNews/videos/?ref=page_internal

Pretty much all the material mentioned here, except channel 7, can be found on youtube. If you subscribe to the right playlists and channels you will get all the muay thai content you could ever want. Muay Thai Daily will give you everything which was televised from Rangsit, Lumpinee, Raja, Jitmuangnon, Omnoi, etc. It doesn't make any distinction between weekend cards and super cards. If it was televised, then you can find it on Muay Thai Daily. Muay Ties mostly just features the biggest fights from Raja and Lumpinee, all filmed live from the stands in HD (if that's really important to you). SMMTV features fights off of Lumpinee and Raja shows. Muaydeetsport also features content off of Lumpinee and Raja shows from after they have occurred, since many of them were untelevised, like Muay Ties shot from the stands in HD. Thairathtv features all the Montree studio content, with multiple camera angles and HD. The names of the fighters for SMMTV, Thairathtv, Muaydeetsport are all in Thai, the others in thai and english. SMMTV and Muaydeetsport also feature previews of upcoming cards, interviews, and general news and notes in Thai.

Muay Ties: https://www.youtube.com/user/Champboxingmagazine

Muay Thai Daily: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCn0h1-SKzondK8nGKCo-p8Q

Thairath: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLg9S5bqtYWfA1vxbotU5JVKKq7gnwclf_

I can't say as though I pay much attention to the Super muay thai cards or the MAX muay thai cards or the MX Extreme cards, as they are generally lower level even than Rangsit, Jitmuangnon and Omnoi cards. However, if you are one of those terrible people who can only get it up when they watch a white boy fight, then I think that most of that stuff can be found on youtube as well.

I also don't follow or know anything about streams which carry muay thai. But anyone who knows of the relevant websites can link them.

What to watch

When it comes to trying to make a viewing guide this is a bit trickier although somewhat necessary, as there is so much muay thai happening every week it would probably be a bit of a chore for most people to watch all of it, in order to highlight the cards which are most worthy of your attention. Here are a few tips:

Anyone who is interested in a list of the Raja and Lumpinee stadium promoters it can be found on the Muaythai2000 website.

Lumpinee: http://www.muaythai2000.com/en/promotor_lumpinee.php

And Raja respectively: http://www.muaythai2000.com/en/promotor_rajadamnern.php

The muaythai2000 fight schedule will also confirm some of what I'm saying: http://www.muaythai2000.com/en/schedule.php

The biggest events these days are usually put on by Songchai, P.K. Saenchai, Jitmuangnon, Petchyindee, Sor. Sommai, Kiatpetch. This is not to say that there aren't other promoters who put on great fights or even the occasional super card. And it also isn't to say that these guys only or even mostly put on super cards. Some of these guys in addition to being muay thais biggest promoters they are also it's most prolific and the quality of the cards can vary alot. For example, Kiatpetch puts on the Muay Thai Lumpinee TKO card every Saturday, which except for perhaps the occasional good main event, will mostly be small potatoes. I know that Petchyindee and Onesongchai were also promoting small weekend cards not too long ago. They also will hold smaller weekday cards, which will feature more midtier talent and maybe one or two really good fights.

Songchai Ratanasuban of Onesongchai promotions also promotes the Yodmuaythai events at Montree studio on Saturdays. This show is pretty decent, sometimes you get some legitimately great fighters on these cards.
Nuttadej Wachirarattanawong of Petchyindee promotions (formerly Petchviset) also promotes the True4u events at Rangsit stadium on Fridays. This is one of the better shows which runs outside of Raja.
Phirapong Theradeatpong of Kiatpetch promotions also promotes the MuaythaiJetsi events at Channel 7 on Saturdays. This is one of the better shows outside of Raja. You will get top fighters who compete on the cards.

I have no idea who promotes the KomchadluekMuaythai at Jitmuangnon stadium. Maybe Somjit Vankaew since I think he he owns Jitmuangnon stadium. But these events never feature top fighters and you aren't missing much by not seeing them.

Thanks to anorak for providing all the following information on these promotions:

Thesukjaomuaythai shows at Omnoi are shared between, Petyindee, Songchai, Sangmorakot, Deer Kiatpet, Petsuphapaan and Sor Sommai and they rotate between them each week. These events have featured some quite good fighters in the past but, as far as I can tell, there haven't been too many good fighters on them recently. So, you aren't missing much by not seeing the fights.

The Sunday rang sit show, muaydee withithai, is run by Lumpini promoter Sorjorwichitpadriew. These fights are generally much lower level than the True4u fights. So, you aren't missing much by not seeing the fights.

The Sunday Rangsit show on Ch 5,Mutyahi TV5, is put together by the boss of Chor Haapayak gym and the boss of Pangkongprarp gym, one connected to Songchai the other Kiatpet, so good chance of Songchai vs Kiatpet match ups on that one. These fights are generally much lower level than the best True4u fights. So, you aren't missing much by not seeing the fights.

This is like a billion time more productive than the endless argument you guys make everyday here.
Personally i just watch the fights via muay ties so this definitely adds value .

One thing which might help make stadium muay thai a bit easier to consume for the uninitiated is to create a sort of Michelin star guide for upcoming muay thai events. You would slap a projected star rating, from 1 to 5 say, on all the projected Lumpinee and Raja cards at the beginning of the week, and then once the cards had happened you give them their actual rating. So the 5 star chicken tournament back in the day or the recent would be a 5 star card, most weekend shows would be somewhere between a 1 and 2. This might help people who are new to muay thai to make, as it were, "informed viewing decisions", watch just the biggest fights and not become overwhelmed by the shear volume of cards. And that way they could familiarise themselves with the top fighters more quickly and so forth.

Obviously the ratings would be somewhat rough and ready.

Added a short list up there for all the lazy people

Get on NOW26 on Facebook and they are streaming the tv show from there, only just seen it but hopefully they will do it every Friday

Great thread.

Next step is to clear the picture regarding the Stadium titles. After sometime dedicated followers learn that the titles aren't the end all be all of muay thai but still, it's a bit confusing, and newcomers would be immediately curious about this.

When Muay Ties and others put up the fights there is never no mention as to whether it is a title fight or not. Like, Petmorrakot Tedded99's last fight when he lost to Suakim, I have no idea if it was for the title or not.

For new people, it would be especially confusing in the 130 lbs weight class with some of the best talent in the sport stacking the division but none of the very best are the actual champion (as far as I know).

I'm pretty sure MuayTies always shows the guy with the belt after the fight if it was for the title, I dont even think about belts anymore though. They're just promotional tools. The best fights dont need belts to be promotable.

Rajadamnern Youtube Channel

Rajadamnern started uploading on there official channel.

Ringside cameras shoot from a weird angel and probably different focal lenght but still looks like the best footage out of the big stadiums.
