Shoulder still bothering me a bit, but was able to bench today. Felt more sore than injured. I played about 4 hours of volleyball on Saturday, it actually seems like that may have helped the shoulder. Weird.

BJJ - 1.5 hours

Squeezed in some juijitsu tonight!!! I've trained like twice in 3 months. Sucks, but tonight was fun. Had a couple of really tough rolls with a purple belt &a brown belt, then a couple of rolls with some blues. Good times.

Crowded gym this morning. Wanted to bench, all the benches were taken. So I did other stuff, but 1/2 hour later they are still all taken. sucked. Wanted to do preacher curls but both of those were taken too. also sucked. Press felt pretty good though.

Don't have much time on Tues or Thur am since my daughter has to be at school at 7am those days. But I got the main lifts in. Squats felt heavy today, but 3x335 was easy, so I tried 365, which I haven't attempted in years. It was easy too, shouldve done at least 2 reps, but I was so focused on getting 1 that I re-racked it.

Had a great Halloween weekend, partied hard & drank too much.

Deads felt pretty good this morning except I thought I was going to shit myself several times. Was planning to do a 5x5 at the end, but on the last 2 reps of the 3rd set I got a little loose & my back tightened up so I called it a day. I've hurt my back so many times doing deadlifts that I don't want to take any chances. I'm not really confident & am progressing very slowly here, but still progressing, so that's good enough for now.

Good workout today, supersetted most of the assistance stuff. I'm not sure the bent-over delt raises are doing much. Maybe I'm not doing them right? Might switch it up. On the other hand, today I did front raises with a 25-lb plate (instead of a barbell) and wnt all the way over my head instead of stopping at shoulder height. Way better. Gonna feel those.

Lost so much strength over the last couple of years so also getting back into my grippers again. Would like to close the CoC 2.5 again - I'm barely able to close my #2 right now. This was 100 reps in sets of 5 done over an hour or so this morning.
