Friends with a married couple... the husband cheated.. should I snitch?

Well, of course if you are friends with a mafioso then you keep your mouth shut, in fact you shouldnt even be friends with a mafioso.

Yes because all murders are committed by mafioso only.

You get in between a man and his wife ..... his family.....well, all bets are off.
Yea there will be some who'll wring their hands n piss n moan about. Then there's some who'll like nothing better than to get some rage out on someone.....and since it can't be my wife, guess who'll be sailing up Shit Creek with no paddle ?

If the situation was reversed, would you want your friend to tell you that your wife cheated? Personally, I'd want to know because life is too short to waste it with someone that's dishonest and has no willpower.

Chances are, this isn't the first nor the last time he'll do that.

Guy code is bullshit.

Almost 100% it's not the first time he's done it. If it was his first time, he picked an odd time to do it. Imagine how comfortable he'd be doing it when he's just with close friends.

Someone isnt going to risk spending life without parole in prison over a failing marriage, get over it.

The proper term is, "pornographic beauty" and no, I wouldn't cheat on my wife for anyone in the world.

You're married but have a very good female friend who is married to another male friend that you are not as close with. Then the pornographic beauty thread. Are you conflicted because you think you could be the one cheating? Are you jealous of the guy who is cheating or do you really want to break up the couple's marriage?

Just admit that you’re salty because he pulled strange game and you spanked it listening through the hotel wall because you couldn’t pull her friend

brah, people snap all the time. The risk of serious body injury is at least a real possibility.

Sadly, I think it all comes down to this.

Who in the world wants to be close friends with a married woman?! WTF.

All this "Dont be a snitch" is horseshit. You dont know who that guy is fucking and how safe hes being. He could wind up bringing an STD to his wife. Then what do you say? "Oh, I didnt wanna be a snitch so now you have genital sores for the rest of your life".

Fuck that noise. If my spouse was cheating on me Id want to know. Otherwise you're putting a commitment into something, possibly a life long commitment, and the terms are far different than you think. A person deserves to know if their significant other is cheating on them. IMO, its ridiculous to argue otherwise.

Admittedly, Im kind of hypocritical on this because Ive had some of my friends cheat on their spouses and since I was friends with them and not the spouse I didnt tell said spouse.

Sounds like you want to smash said wife. Heres your chance. No really tho, snitches get stitches and that guy deserves to beat your ass if you tell.

IMO you should tell her, especially if you're better friends with her than him. The guy is a joke and deserves nothing but a KO and a life of being alone and being miserable. There is absolutely nothing wrong with snitching, especially in this case. @LiL CeeZ

Snakes gonna snake

You never get in between a married couple evah. He takes a huge chance at also losing his friendship with her over it all. Love is a weird thing and friends should not put themselves in the middle. I've seen this happen a few times even with a couple sisters I know. They are no longer on speaking terms and they used to be tight. it's best to stay out of it imo

They are both my friends. They've been married for awhile. The thing is, this girl is a good friend of mine and we've been friends for damn near 20 years and they also have kids together. I'm on a business trip abroad and this guy came a day later. We were out and about and he was hitting on the girls here. He ended up taking one of them to his hotel and believe me, I tried my best to stop him, short of knocking his ass out.

I'm friends with him, but I'm much closer to his wife. He put me in a tough spot here since we hang out regularly. I won't be able to look at him the same way and the wife would be able to tell. I won't tell the wife, but damn this guy is a piece of shit. I'm genuinely pissed because I care about her.

No.

Not too good, obviously. But sometimes in life you are left with a binary option where neither choice puts a smile on your face.

I think it's called being stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Nobody said doing the right thing is the easiest thing to do. That's why people so often do the wrong thing, because it's easier. It's still the wrong thing to do.

If I steal from your friend, I’m not stealing from you.... I think the law pretty much agrees with me on this. What happens to one person does not get multiplied by all of that persons friends. It’s silly to suggest otherwise. You spout this ridiculous bro-code as if it’s a real thing.

Like I said before and you misunderstood..... I might “want” to know, but that doesn’t mean you “should” tell me.

Maybe the reason I “want” to know is because I’m going to murder/suicide the whole family

Maybe the reason I “want” to know is because I’m going use it as a trigger to shoot up her work

Maybe the reason I “want” to know is because I’m going to kill myself

The point that you keep ignoring (or maybe to dumb to understand) is that you aren’t god and you don’t know what’s best for anyone, including yourself.

From your posts in sounds like you live in a fantasy world and you’re unable to see truth

If you steal from my friend in front of me and I then have to fucking lie to my friend, you absolutely did something to me.

I don't know what's best for people? It's never the best thing to lie to your friends about their spouse cheating on them. And telling them isn't playing god, it's doing the right thing. What they choose to do with that knowledge is on them, not you.

Apparently I live in a fantasy world where you don't lie to your friends and you have this thing called integrity. Apparently you don't live in the same world.

And you're also a giant spineless hypocrite. Because I bet you'd be pathetically angry at a mutual friend for them hiding the fact that your girl was sucking random dick behind your back, but you seem to think it's ok to not tell people. Maybe he didn't want to play god, so he let your girlfriend keep kissing you with some other man's cum on her upper lip.

Fucking hypocrites. When you have to make elaborate reasons to explain your behavior, you're fucking wrong. And the truth is you're too spineless to do the right thing and chose the easy way out by betraying your integrity and honor.

But hey, you do you. It's your life. If you don't value friendships and integrity them you just keep secrets like that. Of course they'll hate you if they ever find out you knew, but you probably don't care enough about them to begin with to give a shit.

Lol.....some dude we had met a few times at some holiday resort told my then girlfriend of 8 years that I left with some chick (I did).
I gave him a beat down in a restaurant with all his friends watching.
Like put him under the table after breaking a plate on his head.

No legal drama afterwards. Not that I cared.

There's tons of men like me. And a lot worse.
Ppl should learn to mind their own business in these matters ....unless she's your relative / best friend.

No legal drama because the guy didnt pressed charges or didnt had any lasting injuries. Quite different from someone getting killed.

Also that guy seemed that he wanted to sleep with your GF, its not like im going to rat out random couples i just met, this is specifically for people i consider friends of mine (very few), and in the case where im a tacit accomplice.

Plus im not a small guy, so unless you come at me with a gun im fighting back.

Ppl get killed over stupid shit all the time. I wouldn't but I could see it happening.

The guy was a fast friend / acquaintance from there.

Probably did want to bang her but most likely he said it because he thought it funny or was trying to be a self righteous douche like TS.

The guy was an Asian kick boxer. A weight class or two above me. I didn't come looking to battle for honour or a throne so I just walked up and cracked him over the head. He was under the table in a semi conscious fetal position before he knew it.
So no, I don't need no gun and don't be so sure you'd get the opportunity to be fighting back.
At least that week.

So you commited premeditated assault with a weapon and he didnt press charges, thats cool for you i guess.

While I agree that the right thing to do is not necessarily the easiest. I think what the right thing to do here is subject to debate.

If you believe that being honest and outspoken, before everything else, is always the moral thing to do, then sure. But I think there's a lot of debate here if that is a golden rule of sorts.
