I think a lot of people would give it shit because of the order, but order is subjective.

Bioshock at 3? I love Bioshock but it's top 20 at best.

Bioshock 3? Great game but third of all time?

How do they decide to put one game from a series, but not the others when they are very similar games?

How can they have a list like that and have bioshock top fucking 3 but not final fantasy (7) and GTA 3 not even in the top 10. GTA 3 should be top 3 in my opinion, simply because I don't believe we would have open world games like we do today if it wasn't for gta 3.

Also whoever made that list has a serious hard on for zelda

Made it to Words with Friends and stopped.

Wii Sports > Mass Effect 2, eh?

Seems like the list is geared towards more influential titles, but then you get to Bioshock at #3.

Super Mario 64, the game that essentially taught the industry how to make 3D games work....#41

Damn son. Then again, I remember X-Play giving GOTY to Fable 2 over Fallout 3, so this list isn't too surprising, I suppose.

Not sure what best means but heres my issues.

MK was the most epic game in the arcade, always jammed, people getting seriously rustled.

Halo & Golden Eye were the most engaging multi player games my group of friends had, so should both be tops

Did I miss Tyson's Punch Out!?

Just a list to get people talking and get upset so they click on their site

It's actually my personal #1. Hasn't aged a day, and infinitely replayable. Didn't revolutionize much, but the gameplay is Tetris level addictive.

I feel like there should be two separate categories. The smaller, arcade-like games like PO, NBA Jam, MK, SF, Tetris, etc, etc, don't feel right, being compared to the huge AAA juggernauts, and both are great for completely different reasons. It's like comparing a movie like "Apocalypse Now" to a skit on Chappelle's Show, in a "Top 100 Moving Pictures" list.

I remember playing Punch Out! as a kid with friends so much ... we'd take turns playing it, keep track of how/when we won. We'd have 2 players games like Excite Bike sitting there unplayed.

Everyone's reaction when they finally made it to Tyson, got knocked out in 15 seconds, and realized that trying to beat him was probably going to be a lifelong endeavor:

Came to say this. Aside from the shitty camera that game was a masterpiece. I’d have it right around Ocarina of Time (which I’d also have higher personally)
