Christmas Gift need quick advice

Will those be good for my brother...he started boxing 5-6 months ago and wanted quality gloves...

He's mainly doing bagwork-speed bad and mits...no sparring

My budget is 100$...but i can go up 20$ for Reyes

Reyes are a fantastic glove and I would recommend them. I would check to see if your brother is ok with lace-ups because certain classes these can be a hindrance and most people will opt for the hook and loop (velcro) models.

Now if you already went ahead with your purchase and he wants velcro, there are several ways to convert the lace-ups to hook and loops.

Cleto's are incredibly high quality gloves with really good leather, stitching, and padding. The general consensus is that the PRO gloves' padding is meant to transfer more punching power and thus protects the hands less, but the TRAINING gloves (what you're buying) have ample protection.

GENERALLY lace ups need someone else to tie them, but Sabas recently made a great solution that isn't especially time-consuming, but will cost you 20 USD more. I don't know if they ship to Canada but here's the product:

Those are a little more time-consuming to use, but they're still pretty good.
