Hey guys, if this isn't the right place please move thread.

What do you guys think is a safe amount of weight for someone in a strictly striking sport to cut? I feel as in mma you're not getting hit quite as much so they can get away with cutting more.

From what I understand kickboxers don't cur a lot of weight in general. Personally I can do a 15lb cut and be solid for a fight, do you giys think anytbing over that would be detrimental for kickboxing/Muay Thai?

Cutting water...technically none.
Though 10% is the most i would ever recommend a person attempt.
Kidneys and hearts and brains oh my.

This.

Anymore than 10% and you're reaching into hospital level risks.

Cutting in striking isn't as much as an advantage in MMA.
