I don't understand why you would think it is necessary to bolt it to the ground. I'd get some rubber mats like horse stall mats and put it on that. My biggest concern would be the noise and complaints.

I would still deadlift and do other bits and pieces at the gym. Shouldn't be THAT noisy as long as I'm using it during reasonable hours.

It really will depend on how insulated the walls and floors are. You'd be surprised.

Not to be argumentative but trust me I know. Most council flats in the UK are like that. It's a pain in the ass at times lol.

I think anything you did inside the rack (e.g. squats, bench) would be fine. Something where the weight is on the front of the rack might be a concern. You could counter-balance it by putting weight on the back of the rack e.g. have a loaded bar on the hooks inside the rack to counter-balance your weight when you do chins/dips.

As long as you are super rough I think you should be fine.

Yeah exactly what I was thinking. Thinking about it a little more I could just attach the dip bars Somewhere inside the rack and use the pull up bar inside it. I don't have a sufficient enough knowledge of physics to articulate why that would be more favourable but you understand what I'm getting at.

Wow I might even be able to do floor ghr with this thing too.

I've started a passive aggressive campaign against 20-30 something year old entrepreneur and life experts who tell us all how to do it. Not really, but I really don't like them... Am I a bad person?

Nah you're not a bad person, you're just getting old.

I know, right?
It's really just one kind of millennial life coach kinda person that sets me off. I've been un-following them as they pop up on my SM feeds. As much as I enjoy their limited life experience instructional monologues and condescending time-management insights, I find it easier to simply ignore them than to deal with making them feel unsafe.

My body is currently rotating through DOMS. This morning is was quads/hips, then it was chest once I got to work. Now my lats are sore. Surprisingly my spinal erectors feel okay even though they were burning yesterday.

I had DOMS after my last session. The Bulgarian split squats are brutal. I'm hopefully deadlifting tonight and so I feel like DOMS are imminent. I'm going for 315x15 Lulzyluzluz...

Double-digit deadlift sets? Yeah there will be DOMS...

After my tonsillectomy, I had lost 15 lbs and my strength was way down. I reset with mainly working higher reps and volume. Also, training beltless more and doing different variations of lifts. I haven't had DOMS like this in years. The funny thing is that I'm using pretty light weight. I don't think I've done over 80% of my 1RM.

I don't even know what my 1RM is these days. Probably around 70% of my all time PRs if I had to guess.

I'm doing the same. NO belt, light weight and lots of volume. I feel strong and about 6KGs less BW than I was when I got injured.

I did not DL last night. Wife worked nights so I had the kiddos. Miles, who's 6 decided that he didn't want to go to bed so we played chess and watched a show called My Secret Italy on the Latin Network... Its a travel show, not some softcore latin porn.

I wish I could say that I felt strong. I think if I went for a heavy single, it'd probably be 90% if I was lucky. I think I'll be able to build back up within a month or two though.
