Holy shit. I'm guessing Al Haymon/Showtime have invested in this fight.

Wilder is offering 50 million to AJ for the fight, and he says he has all the money right now. Apparently AJ responded on Instagram saying "Let's go."

Wilder is certain that he's going to win. Damn.

A YouTube channel that interviews/texts wilder just said he got a text from Wilder confirming the info is true. Live stream going on atm:

This explains why Wilder has been quiet. He's been playing chess while Eddie and AJ have been playing checkers.

Heavyweight world titleholder Deontay Wilder and his team made a counter offer via email to unified titlist Anthony Joshua and his promoter, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Boxing, on Wednesday for a much-anticipated undisputed championship fight, Shelly Finkel, one of Wilder’s managers, told ESPN. Finkel said they offered Joshua and Hearn $50 million against 50 percent of revenue the event would generate, meaning Joshua’s side would make no less than $50 million and could earn much more if the fight generates more than the $100 million Finkel said Team Wilder believes it can. Finkel said the offer contains no rematch clause and that it stipulates that the fight be next for each man and take place between September and December at a site of Wilder's choosing. The offer was a counter to the $12.5 million flat fee Hearn offered Wilder earlier this month. Hearn confirmed to ESPN he has received the offer.

Wilder believes the fight will generate over $100 million. He's offering AJ a flat fee of $50 million.

Wilder offering a flat fee and trying to hijack the drawing power and PPV numbers of Joshua.

All these bum AJ fans said this fight won't generate $100 million. Wilder fans didn't =)

If they are offering this then I would take it. That's a lot of money. I would be surprised it generated that much revenue in the US tho.

American counterparts, what say you?

Eddie Hearn:

This fight should be bigger for us then Floyd-Pac. It should generate enough dough. Let's hope we get it. Excited about this one.

They gotta hype the shit out of this. This is fucking huge if it happens. I'm in for him to smash your boy on home soil!

Haymon/Finkle and Co. have greater resources that Fast Eddie does.. . . .Las Vegas and its casinos is called the "Fight Capitol of the Wolrd" and is swimming in money willing to throw at mega events like no other city in the world. There are a number of independent casino owners who are billionaires and would love to host a heavyweight title fight. In addition Las Vegas just came up with $1.2 billion to build a football stadium, $150 million to build a minor league baseball stadium, more than a billion for a light rail rail system etc. etc, Showtime is a partner in the deal aand brings in a commitment to increasing its footprint in big boxing events.

Pac vs Mayweather was a scam and we were all the victims.. . . .Wilder vs Joshua is a real fight.

They all need to get in a room and figure out the details face to face and just get this done. It's the fight everyone wants to see and they should capitalize on that while they can.

I get that. obviously it's the capital of the fight world. I was more wondering about both guys profiles in murica?

Joshua isn't full of shit either. He really is willing to take that.

For all those who were saying Deontay wasn't willing to make the fight hetre you go

This is the best thing ever for Joshua's career. . . .He can now move out of Eddie's backyard to the penthouse uptown.

Joshua’s offer to wilder was 12.5 mil

So with a 50 mil counter offer what’s going to be Hearn’s excuse not to sign?
