It is really apparent how much less time I have to lift. Tonight was a good example of the challenge I have overcoming the pressures of procrastination.

I worked, drove home, took miles to the track, he did his thing, then I coached the high jumpers, got home, threw Miles in the shower, put Charlotte to bed, took Miles out of the shower, slapped myself in the face a few times to get the idea of sinking into the couch with a bowl of gnocchi bake and the hockey playoffs out of my head and went into the basement and lifted.

This was a sweat inducing session. Felt good to be pushing the weight a bit on the squat. I enjoy the high volume but at some point I need to know where I am. 27- was a breeze, even under exhaustion.

I had to restart everything due to injury and weight loss and general not giving a fuckery. But previous maxes were

I am not working with any maxes, just putting weight on the bar and seeing how it goes.

You and I have the same height and weight... 6'1-2" about 200 lbs. Tall and skinny. I've always had a stronger pull than my other lifts. When I train the DL it improves quite quickly. It didn't take me long to go from a mid 4's to 485... Squat and bench on the other hand haven't moved much at all.

I'm pretty committed to improving my squat to a respectable number at this time, so I'm focusing on that much more than the other lifts. BUT my overall goal right now is to just be moving, healthy and to put on some muscle. I've completely given up on chasing numbers.
 
Well hopefully in pursuit of all thing aesthetics and health, you crush your old numbers!

I think the last one was a Deadlift comp, which I fizzled out of due to injury and lack of motivation to get back in the groove. But I wouldn't be against it.

Yes, I was thinking of timed 40's or even 60's. Tough though because hand timed over such a short distance isn't ideal. Was the first thing that popped into my head. I was just trying to cater to the more "Fit and Fab" community or f13 has turned into these days.

Something easier to quantify would be muscle ups (which I can’t do) or ab wheel roll outs or something for the fit and fab people
