Champion Jung Hwan Cha has finally recovered from his shoulder injury and will rematch interim champ Young Choi to unify the belts. Their previous bout was very close, needing an extension round to decide a champion. Cha has been on the best run of his career, having not lost since 2012 while finishing Riki Fukuda and Young Choi along the way. Choi was one of the first Korean fighters and was the DEEP Middleweight champion when he came over to ROAD FC.

Middleweight Title Bout
Jung Hwan Cha (13-6-3, Champion) vs Young Choi (20-11-3, Interim Champion)

Middleweight Bout
In Soo Hwang (4-0) vs Hae Jun Yang (11-5)

In Soo Hwang is the hottest Middleweight prospect in Asia right now, blasting through tough vets like it's nothing. Hungry Hae Jun Yang is a long time vet that has fought from Middleweight all the way up to Heavyweight, he was supposed to be in Bellator's Season 3 Heavyweight Tournament but his appearance didn't materialize.

Those should both be good fights. Cha vs. Choi I was one of those rare late finishes, in what was already a stellar event.

Yang is gonna be rusty. I see another 1st Rd KO in Hwang's future.

Also, Kyrgyz fight Bakhtiyar Toichubaev has signed to fight on this event. Es either 9-4 or 10-4 depending on where you look.

Yun Ha Hong has been posting pics of her last fight on IG, makes me wonder if she has something lined up.

Also, this is Ye Ji Lee's hometown, so she's definitely a candidate for this event, especially considering she hasn't fought since August.

Does the open weight semis are in this show

This event is gonna be very middleweight heavy, with a third bout added:

Uh-Jin Jeon makes his return to the Road FC cage after a loss to Riki Fukuda in a fight for the then vacant middleweight title.

In-Jae La was last in action in March as a late replacement facing Dong-Hwan Lim, only two weeks before his Wedding (wife is smking, too. a fitness pageant competitor)! La showed his experience and cage maturity against the younger Lim.

The Stone Cutter is a dangerous man, excited for his return to defend his belt. Hwang as stated is on a tear and very intriguing fighter to watch.

First non-middleweight added:

Atomweight: Ye-Ji Lee (3-3 Korea) vs. Mika Arai (3-0 Japan)

Lee returns to action almost a year to fight once again in her hometown of Wonju, where she celebrated her first win, and also her most recent loss.

Arai returns to Road FC for the first time since her debut "win" against Yun-Ha Hong. Hong missed weight, and due to the rules, all Mika had to do was not get finished to win, due to the deficit in Road FC's scoring system. She has since gone on to defeat both of her subsequent opponents in DEEP Jewels.

also, Road FC is having a contest to decide Lee's new nickname (former nickname is "high school fighter") on their facebook.

Jae-Nam Yoo trains out of the Road Gym in Wonju with Soo-Chul Kim.

Yi-Moon Han was on Crying Fist and is returning after 2.5 years away in the military.

Hyung-Su Kim was a standout from Crying Fist, and is known for doing work for Children's charities, as well as being Kron Gracie's debut opponent.

Chang-Geun Jeon is a self described "Fighting genius" and the winner of the Fearless Guys Show.

A fair experience difference here. Park is a Road FC mainstay. Lee has one pro fight, where he got knocked out be In Soo Hwang. To be fair, he lasted longer than some of Hwang’s other opponents.

It was pretty much a matter of time until a fight for him was announced, being the hometown guy in Wonju:

The “Firefighter Fighter” is back, taking on his most experienced opponent yet, the striker Hayashi, who sports a 6-4 record.

Jung-Hwan Cha is injured again, unable to compete, and stripped of his title. Young Choi is promoted to full middleweight champ, and will defend against In-Jae La.

Would be nice to see Jae Young Kim back in ROAD
